Your Kitchen Chef went above and beyond for our wedding day - April 3rd 2023. We’re food people, so we were picky as to what we wanted for our big day. We decided we wanted a brunch buffet, with a mimosa bar. And that’s exactly what they did, and it was truly remarkable! They even brought decor along, to help make the buffet table “pop” more.

We had a tasting with Keith months before at his home, and we got to try numerous amounts of brunchie options! His French Toast, Tuscan chicken, Salmon Benedict’s, and caprese skewers are to die for. After the tasting, we knew right away we were using Your Kitchen Chef.

Julie Moore and Keith Banks are amazing people to work with! They helped us out every step of the way. They made us, and our guests very happy with their amazing/wonderful food. I would highly recommend them for any catering event you will need/want in the future!

Keith is an amazing chef and our experience from the initial contact with Our Kitchen Chef up through our wedding was so easy and perfect. We are really picky foodies and could not have made a better selection for the food service (and bar service). They responded quickly, were very receptive to our visions and ideas, and provided very clear options and professional guidance. The tasting was amazing and they helped us narrow down our options to create the perfect menu that our guests are still raving about. We had several challenges from severe allergies to providing safe food service to our guests during covid and they flawlessly delivered on all aspects. Our Kitchen Chef will definitely be our go-to for any and all future events in need of catering, they come highly recommended.

We have catering companies at our wedding venue 'Weddings On The Hill' virtually every week. When it came time for us to select one for my father's memorial service, we selected Your Kitchen Chef. Keith has an amazing commercial kitchen at his personal residence and has been in the food preparation business his entire career. His pricing is fair, his food is excellent, and he takes great pride in serving his customers. If you're looking for an excellent catering service, I highly recommend that you place 'Your Kitchen Chief' high on your list.

So glad we went with this company for our wedding! Every part of the process was very easy and honestly, they are so much more affordable than most other options we found in the Portland area, but you would never guess it by how high quality the food is. Absolutely delicious and we got a ton of compliments from our guests. We particularly recommend the mushroom puffs for an appetizer, so good! And the gouda mashed potatoes, yum. We had some rare allergies and some vegans to feed, it was no problem at all and very easily managed by them. Also, they inquired about our wedding colors/themes and really incorporated that into the buffet tables so it looked very cohesive with the rest of the event. We highly recommend them!!

Keith Banks (Your Kitchen Chef) catered my wedding in August, and he was practically perfect in every way. I recommend him highly.

Of course the bottom line for a caterer is the food, and it was superb. I got exactly what I wanted - unlike other caterers, who promoted their own specialties - and every item was excellent!

Keith was extremely flexible. I wanted a whole lamb roasted on a spit, and Keith purchased a grill to do the job. "That's how we grow," he explained. "We will use it again in the future." When we wanted pie instead of cake, Keith created a pie bar with 6 great pies - plus a small, delicious cake for the traditional ceremony.

Perhaps most importantly, Keith felt like a partner rather than a vendor. He has an upbeat, can-do attitude, and he offered good advice. After all, he's been to more weddings than we have. Keith's wife Sherri works with him, and it was a delight to spend time with both of them.

He provided full service, including two visits to the site before the event. His staff was friendly and efficient, and they actually seemed to enjoy themselves while working hard.

Keith played a large part in making my wedding a total success and easy joyful celebration!

I cannot recommend Keith and his crew from Your Kitchen Chef more highly! The food was absolutely delicious, not basic in any way (many wedding guests complimented us on this), the catering staff worked hard to make the evening run smooth, the bartenders were excellent. Every step of the way, Keith and Julie were professional, friendly and quickly responded to our questions. The food was one of the highlights of our daughter's wedding thanks to this company! Kudos!

Your Kitchen Chef did a fabulous job catering our daughter's wedding. Living out of state, I can't speak to the process of choosing the caterer and menu because the wedding couple did that, but the food was great and the presentation lovely. I do want to give a shout out to Julie Moore, the Event Manager. She went above and beyond during the entire process. I contacted her before the wedding to see if she could direct me to someone who might be able to help with some decorating for the wedding. The couple wanted more minimalistic aesthetics and didn't want or need a full-blown high end ($$$$) wedding decorator but we wanted someone to take on a decorating role for creating table centerpieces, couple's table, wedding arch etc. and setting it all up on the day. To my delight, Julie and a friend of hers took on that role. It truly allowed this MOB to relax and enjoy the wedding planning and process along with peace of mind the day of the wedding. Everything was executed beautifully. If I lived closer, I'm certain Julie, her friend, Dana and I would be good friends. They are highly professional, caring and truly just great people. If you choose Your Kitchen Chef for any event, you will be in great hands! Catering and event planning is not easy and for this group of people it is obvious this is truly a labor of love!

My sister used them for her wedding and now I'm def hoping to use them for mine. This was the best wedding food I have ever eaten and all the guests that attended are still talking about how good it was.

I got married on March 3/25 and they catered our event. Once again I am AMAZED! The food was incredible, the food service was excellent, and they were so friendly and accommodating. Loved it!!! I recommend them!!
