Award-winning barbecue in the heart of downtown Florence. They have won so many nationwide barbecue competitions that the trophies and medals take up one side of the restaurant wall. We know this is a far drive for most of us in the Phoenix area, but it really isn’t that bad and it’s really worth the trip.
The smoked turkey club was the best turkey sandwich I’ve ever had. The peanut butter jelly wings are a must have! The brisket burger is 100% brisket, and it slaps!!! Overall amazing staff and food. In a very peaceful downtown area.

I finally got to try this place today and it was wonderful! Decent prices and superb food. The burger was huge and delicious. The brisket sandwich was definitely enough food for a very hungry appetite and delicious. The pulled pork sandwich was also delicious. Can't wait to try the ribs and the wings next time. We will be back often!

I would have taken more pictures but the food looked and tasted so good, it was gone before we knew it 😆. Our server was attentive and nice. Our food tasted fresh and amazing! The restaurant was a nice little spot, we sat on the back patio and it was really nice outside. I would definitely recommend this spot for any type of occasion. They did good with this spot for sure!

Service was great. The brisket was delicious. The wings are my favorite, perfectly crispy with great flavor on their own. The cannoli’s for dessert were yummy! Purchase some of their seasonings while you’re there. I reach for the Hot Honey Garlic & the Green Chili Bacon seasonings often but all of them are great! For first time visitors, the restaurant is very small so keep that in mind when going during busy hours. We were familiar with the building so we knew what to expect. This restaurant is a great addition to downtown Florence. Delicious food!

Great job, the beef brisket sandwich had great smoke depth, tender, juicy, and really good flavor. The Florence wing's as the special today were also great. Full depth smoke flavor with them and with the Blue Cheese crumbles on top melted on to them you could tell tell that they were hot and fresh. The house/homemade spicy BBQ sauce, very tasty. When we were leaving, you had a line outside waiting to get in and have a seat before 11:30. Your Behind BBQ is off to a great start for day 2 of the soft opening.

Wow, that's a great addition to downtown Florence! Open earlier on Sundays than any restaurant on the strip. It's a small spot with table side service. The smoked turkey is moist and tender with a flavor that's unforgettable. Also, the rack of pork ribs are tender fresh and juicy. I am very happy with this restaurant and I'm excited to try the whole menu. I hope to see beef ribs someday or maybe brisket sold by the pound. Thank you, birds and bones. See you guys soon.
