I didn’t stay at the b&b but took a basket weaving class from Bob, one of the proprietors. The property is fascinating - history and location. Bob is an excellent teacher and wonderful human. I enjoyed the entire experience immensely and enjoyed the lively conversation. Bob and Patrick made me feel comfortable and at home. I will definitely return to learn more basket weaving. Try it! You won’t be disappointed.

Stayed here with friends in adjoining rooms. Comfortable bed, fruit, coffee and other snacks available in the room. As a special treat, there was home made cake in the fridge - very delicious! Patrick met us at check in and gave us a tour and introduced us to the resident cats, dogs and donkeys! He filled us in on the history of the place as well. Very nice overall and would definitely stay there again! Highly recommend!

The Yaqui Hideout was truly a special find. It’s a bit off the beaten path, yet within easy driving distance to Chiricahua National Monument, Cochise Stronghold, Fort Bowie, and Whitewater Draw, home to thousands of Sandhill Cranes. Our accommodations were beautifully decorated, and the refrigerator was stocked with delicious homemade sweet breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, and assorted beverages. After a day of exploring , we relaxed on our deck under a lovely night sky.
Our host, Patrick, was so kind, helpful, and accommodating. He took time to show us their weaving studio, and tell us a bit about this wonderful inn and working farm. If anyone is looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, this is the place for you.

5-stars! Beautiful location near the Chiricahua National Monument, easily accessible from Bisbee, Willcox and Sierra Vista. Patrick was a tremendous and engaging host at his working lavender farm. Sheep, donkeys, dogs and cats, all friendly and available to meet. Dramatic scenic views. The Appaloosa Room was neat, very clean and well-appointed with a supremely comfortable king-sized bed. Continental breakfast provided in-room with yogurt, fresh fruit, granola bars and amazing home-baked frosted blueberry pastries with a touch of farm-raised lavender from the property! Better than any hotel I stayed at in Tucson or Tombstone and cannot recommend highly enough for anyone traveling in southern Arizona. Spend a night at the Yaqui Hideout Lavender Farm!

Cosy lodging close to Whitewater Draw (sandhill cranes) and Chiricahua Monument. Bed was extremely comfortable, and kitchen was very well stocked with all sorts of treats for breakfast and snacking. Patrick was a gracious host, taking us on a tour of his ranch and introducing us to his dogs and cats. This was a unique experience, and in the future, we would go out of our way to stay there again.
