I had a Do Not Disturb sign on my door as I was a single woman traveling alone. Despite having the sign on the door, housekeeping entered my room and discarded of items on my desk which included a bag with food, receipts and $40 cash. It wasn't in the trash nor near the trash so I don't understand why anything was removed from my desk. There could have been something more valuable in that bag on that desk. Nothing was indicated as trash so disposing of anything was out of line and as egregious as walking into my room whilst a Do Not Disturb sign was on it. The receptionist replaced my food but there was no follow up on the money lost now was there follow up on why housekeeping entered my room with the Do Not Disturb sign posted. The gym was hot, out dated and kind of scary. The free weights are rusted, the machines were older and uncomfortable to use, the vents were loud which made it scary and boiler room/ dungeon like and just not an experience worth the price. The business center was nice with free printing. The water temperature was horrible, it was hot only 1 out of my 4 days there otherwise freezing cold and uncomfortable. The hotel looks old and more like a motel beyond the lobby. The lobby and conference center areas are nice but not reflective of hotel.

Upon entering the room, I discovered a half of hamburger eaten off of and thrown behind the chair which housekeeping should have seen when making the bed. The housekeeping supervisor came up, but was hesitant to enter the room and remove it. We had to keep asking housekeeping to empty our trash cans and give more tolietre items. Also, my mom who is disabled needed help with luggage. However, there were no bell hops employed and the kind manager came to help. Food at the restaurant for my 5 day stay was wonderful during lunch, but dinner was horrible! My shrimp were not cooked thoroughly, lettuce for my Ceasars salad was cut near the butt of the lettuce core..$29 dollar dish, I think not!
When I noted these things, the server began to argue with me. Location was not in a good area as around the corner and next door, some buildings were ridden with graffiti. I will not stay again..not worth the $1,200 that I spent not to mention $38 a night for parking.š¬

Out of all of the hotels in Atlanta, this hidden gem is my number #1 pick. ||The Wyndhamās facade on Lenox Road is a work-in-progressādonāt let it fool you. It belies the happy, civilized experience inside. ||The Wyndham has a beautiful entrance, lobby area, and restaurant. The food I had was very good. And the rooms are classical, tasteful, and lovely. The bed and fluffty pillows make for delicious sleeps. ||The location is also greatāright by Lenox Square and close to a number of parks including Chastain Park (short car ride) with itās walking/jogging path that circles the golf course. ||But, thatās not why I love the Wyndham. I love the Wyndham because of the PEOPLE!!||Everyone is so kind, so friendly, so helpful, and caring. Itās like going home to a really wonderful family! Alicia and Alicia and Francis and Habsa at the welcome desk are great. āWe appreciate you!ā Alicia always says. ||Thank you, Alicia and Alicia and Francis and Habsa and everyone on my floor who kept the rooms immaculate and who were so kind. I will see you again soon, I hope!|Ellie

I cannot begin to express how terrible my stay at the Wyndham Marriott in Buckhead Atlanta was. From the moment I arrived, I was shocked by how overpriced everything was. The hotel charged me a ridiculous amount for everything, including $38 for parking. Thatās just the beginning of my complaints.||||The shower experience was miserable ā despite the cold, wet, and windy weather outside, the water coming out of the shower was ice cold! Completely unacceptable. On top of that, the air in the room was dry and uncomfortable, making it hard to even breathe properly.||||The worst part of my stay was the noise. The walls are so thin, I could hear kids running up and down the hallway all night. I couldnāt get any sleep at all. Itās as if thereās no insulation or soundproofing at all in this place.||||This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience Iāve ever had. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Youāre better off finding a place that values your comfort and your wallet.

Hi Paul and the Wyndham staff.
Iād like to say Francis is awesome! I really wish I could write two reviews for your property one really good and one quite bad. My stay started staying on the fourth floor and the room was kind of outdated a little stagnant. The fridge didnāt have all the shelves in it and just froze everything the bathroom was kind of dirty And it just felt a little gross.
I was just sticking it out and then, two Chihuahua Dogs moved in next-door and I called the front desk and Francis was immediately willing to help me change rooms so I didnāt have to listen to them yap all night long..
The noise from room to room is definitely an issue The walls are not very thick.
He moved me very graciously to the eighth floor, which is absolutely stunning. It seems like theyāre renovating it. It has all new flooring and an updated bathroom with a big shower and glass door. Itās really a room Iād pay to stay in again.
The only other encounter that I had that was extremely negative was with the manager on duty at night Angeria, much like her name she was extremely angry. On multiple occasions she provided very poor quality customer service. She not once put in my request for a wake up call. I was extremely disappointed in the attitude of this employee to the point that I would not stay here again because of it. She was argumentative about policyās that other employees told me about, she was not friendly at all, I didnāt fee like she wanted to help me.

The room was great and the staff was great also. I didnāt really like having to pay for parking, but I definitely liked being across the street from the mall. The hotel lobby smelled so good and was very clean. I did have problem with the mini fridge in my room and the tv was having issues connecting to the WiFi, but the staff got a maintenance guy upstairs to help the issues. All in all it was a good stay.

I am absolutely disgusted with my stay at the Wyndham Marriott in Buckhead, Atlanta. This hotel completely failed to meet even the most basic expectations. First off, the prices are outrageous. I paid $38 just to park, which is absurd for a place that doesn't even offer decent service or comfort in return. To top it off, the room was freezing when I arrived. After a long, cold, and wet day outside, I couldnāt get warm because the shower water was ice-cold. This should be a basic service for any hotel, and yet they couldnāt even get that right.
The air quality was horrible tooāthe air felt so dry, it was hard to breathe and uncomfortable all night. Add to that the noiseāthereās no soundproofing in this place at all. The walls are paper-thin, and I could hear kids running up and down the hallway until late into the night. It was impossible to sleep, and I honestly felt like I was staying in a budget motel, not a supposed āpremiumā hotel.
This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience Iāve ever had, and I will never stay here again. Stay far, far away from this overpriced, poorly managed hotel.

Great people first of all, not a criticism of them. I do about 10 conferences in big cities a year and this was just honestly the worst experience I have had. Fixture in my room was broken, looked terrible. Bathroom just needs to be maintained. The conference area is in the most nonlogical place.
Going to that area felt like a trip down the hallway in the Shining and just as terrifying wondering what could be around this narrow corner... oh it's a... skybridge? There must be a story about why it's setup like that. No coffee available, at least I couldn't find it, at any time of the day. (not my conference, they had it, I mean the facility).
Pool area closed for no reason, that's a lot of outdoor seating and the weather was very nice. I know this because I asked the front desk where the pool was and they told me right where to go. But when I got there... totally closed down... not sure why they didn't mention that. I ended up sitting on a bench next to the road out front. Not the most safe feeling but again, nice weather and I like to sit outside.
Great people, they agreed to clean my room even though I was only there two nights. Many places aren't great about that but they were super friendly. They also were very accommodating about so many from our conference getting there early. I think that was probably hard for them to solve, but they worked wonders.
I didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked nice. Overall theme was a funky confusing layout and rooms that are in desperate need of updating, but great people and customer service. Whoever is over hiring and managing should be given the reins to operations as well ha.
