If you want an impeccably clean, sweetly decorated, and cozy bed and breakfast in a beautiful location, Woodsong Acres is for you! The home is filled with quaint decorations and books and games with coffee/tea and snacks in the dining area. The hosts really go to great lengths to make a comfortable stay. Jay is an outstanding baker and even makes his own maple syrup! Esther makes you feel like an honored family guest. Thank you to our incredible hosts for making this anniversary special!!

I would highly recommend Woodsong Acres. My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights to experience the covered bridge tour. This home is nestled on a beautiful piece of property. The hosts were amazing. The food was delicious. The rooms were clean and inviting. By far one of my favorite bed and breakfast locations. Have a wonderful time and looking forward to going back.

This was a beautiful estate. There was a pond with a paddle boat and trails through the woods.
Esther and Jay were excellent host. The house and our room where both amazing.
We had a delicious breakfast. French toast casserole, bacon orange juice, and fruit.
To top it off they served us homemade maple syrup that was made onsite by Jay.
This place was awesome I wish I could have spent more time there.

The Inn at Woodsong Acres is simply beautiful. There are lovely wildflowers along the driveway leading to the house, once you reach the end of the drive you see the beautiful expanse of the house, pond, cottage and sugar shack. We were greeted like we were family by Jay and Esther. The rooms are cozy and clean. After a delicious breakfast , which included some of Jay’s homemade maple syrup, we headed out for a hike around the woods on the property. Such a quiet serene location. So glad the we found this place. Next time our travels bring us to Conneaut, we will definitely stay here!

Woodsong Acres, Kingsville, Ohio - A Perfect Nature Escape

Our family of five recently stayed at the cottage in Woodsong Acres, and it was a wonderful experience! The property is surrounded by beautiful nature, offering the perfect balance of seclusion without feeling too remote. The cottage was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities—gas, water, electricity, Wi-Fi—so we had the comforts of home while enjoying a peaceful getaway.

The property features well-marked hiking trails, which made exploring the outdoors easy and enjoyable for our family. Our kids had a blast fishing, and the disc golf course added an extra layer of fun to our stay. One of the highlights was the huge Jacuzzi tub in the cottage, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking and outdoor activities.

Esther and Jay, the hosts, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They gave us great advice on nearby places to visit, which really enhanced our experience. The ambiance of Woodsong Acres is amazing—natural beauty is everywhere you look, creating a serene and calming environment. We would definitely visit again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful nature retreat with all the conveniences of modern amenities!

Esther and Jay's hospitality was only paralleled to the beauty of their Inn and incredible property. Every detail was thoughtfully executed and personalized to create a welcoming retreat. The nurturing continued with delicious breakfasts that were customized to each of our needs. Woodsong Acres is now our new home away from home and we look forward to our next visit.

This place will exceed your expectations. Simply stated, Esther adds the extra hospitality that can not be matched. If you're looking for a relaxing low-key setting, there are none better. The rooms, bathrooms, bedding, floors you name it get exceptional grades for cleanliness.

The breakfast we had was very good and I'm sure you will enjoy yours too.

Esther and Jay deserve credit for offering one of the best B&B experiences you will ever have.

Update: We liked this place so much we returned for a second visit a month after our first. This time, we used the cottage. This was the ultimate place to spend my wife's birthday and our anniversary. While we gave up the traditional B&B breakfast, the other benefits made up for it. This gives you more of a private setting away from the main house. My wife loved spending evenings on the screened pourch. It has everything you would want for a comfortable getaway. Now, this next part should not be taken as a negative.

If you're going to cook your own meals, you might want to bring your own cookware, such as frying pans. This is pretty common everywhere I have ever gone. Again, it's not a complaint. You can certainly get by with what is supplied, but it's just a small thing to pack some cookware.

Bring some charcoal, the outside grill is fantastic.

There are many places to visit along with things to do. Sunsets on the beach are outstanding. Visit Ashtabula Harbor, covered bridges, two waterfalls, several parks for hiking, tired watching, etc.

Now Ester and Jay are the best hosts I have ever met. We are hoping to make it back over winter.
