Having to change my room 4x in less than 24 hrs should speak volumes as to how things are kept & run here. Rooms dirty, some AC units work, toilet and sink broken. Odors of cat urine, sheets weren't inspected and dirty linens placed on beds. No wash clothes in 1 unit and totally missing towels, wash clothes and hand towels from last room I switched into. TV remotes missing pieces. No, you can't make this up. Worse was newly remodeled room had security lock engaged when I wasn't within the room. Locked out for 45 minutes then told must change room to walk into the above. Whatever you do make this your absolute last choice. New room, microwave doesn't work. Had to use one in main lobby. Requested maintenance, know they won't show. Place only wants your money. Should be ashamed to run this place as is. Saddest part is Management won't fix problems and stick next guests with same garbage rooms. If it wasn't prepaid, I'd switch immediately. Be Aware!!!!!!!!!

Location is great right off the highways and near a ton of other hotels and food options. Felt like overall the location was safe and it was very convenient to everything that we needed to get to. When you pull into the lot though the exterior of the building looks in major disrepair. To explain the setup: the bottom two floors are the Baymont and our motel style where you access the rooms directly from the outside. There were people hanging out on the balconies and laundry being hung. My son commented upon arrival " we've stayed in some sketchy places before but this is the sketchiest by far. " The Wingate then is the third floor which you access via a locked area or the elevator. The hallways in common areas all appear to be unswept and are generally very dirty and dilapidated. The place in general reeks like marijuana and it was very obvious that numerous people in our hall were using regularly. Breakfast was extremely minimal: cranberry juice, coffee, donuts, a waffle maker, and some other random item. One day it was biscuits and gravy, one day it was eggs but both were very cold in the serving container. Room was overall clean and comfortable but lacks some basics. Our refrigerator didn't work at all, there was no washcloths, they give you the smallest bar of soap ever, and we had to ask for additional blankets as the blankets on the bed are so thin that you freeze. The coffee inserts for the coffee maker in the room likewise don't fit the coffee maker and thus if you try to use them you end up burning yourself. At the end of the day you kind of get what you pay for with this hotel. It's extremely inexpensive and it shows throughout the property.

This hotel is an absolute disgrace. There were boxes scattered across the lobby, paint and plaster was peeling from the ceiling and walls, the dining area was a mess. The food options were very limited, the waffle maker didn’t work, and the juice dispenser didn’t work. The lobby bathroom had pubic hair and someone’s toothpaste and hygiene in there, obviously being used by staff to get ready for the day. The rooms had obviously not been cleaned since the last stay. The used soap bar from the previous tenant was still in the shower along with additional thick soap buildup and they just placed the new wrapped soap bar on top of all that.
To top it all off, the fire alarm sounded at midnight due to someone smoking weed on the first floor. The staff simply silenced the smoke alarm instead of waiting for EMS personnel to investigate the situation and reset the alarm. This violates local policy as well as state law and compromises tenant safety. This is never acceptable. I strongly discourage anyone from ever even considering booking this poor excuse of a hotel and we will be contacting Wyndham to discuss all of these concerns and ask for a full refund at the very least.

Based on my recent overnight stay, this place is way overrated. It started with the smell. The lobby, hallways, elevator, and room all had distinct odors, ranging from the vague smell of burning plastic to overwhelming musty. The cleanliness and upkeep were fair at best, with bits of trash strewn along the hallways. Lots of dings and dents in the walls and furniture, some hastily repaired with duct tape. Mediocre breakfast selections and horrible tasting coffee. Front desk staff seemed to be continually on their phones. The one positive thing were the beds, which were very comfortable.||If you could get a super-cheap rate (well below $100) maybe this place would be worth it, but for what I paid I'm sure I could have found a nicer place somewhere else along Miller Lane. A definite thumbs-down from me.

The night of March 1 - 2, 2025. Wyndham should pull its franchise. The repaint of the room was sloppy and shoddy with missed spots and wall color on the ceiling. There was a bulge in the ceiling, perhaps from a roof leak, cracks in the walls, mold in the corners of the bathroom, stains on the sheets and pillow cases. The barely functional elevator (a sign posted by it said to only carry 3 or 4 people) empties onto the cold, open veranda on the third floor. The cable is the most basic; it doesn't get any local stations, so you can't tell the upcoming weather. No alarm clock/radio either. Neither the desk lamp, nor the floor lamp worked. The floor lamp had only one bulb, not the two it was supposed to have. The water temperature on the sink went from cool to dangerously hot, without much adjustment. We were part of a prepaid bus tour, so we couldn't just leave to go elsewhere. We thought it was just our room, but at the meager breakfast the next morning, we heard other horror stories from the rest of the people. I won't list theirs because I didn't witness them first hand.

The room was nasty, the whole hotel is trashed, the stairs weren’t sturdy. There was mold on the tub, feces on the toilet, mold on the ceiling, really big stains on the beds, we stayed there for three days not one time did anybody come to clean the room, went downstairs to ask for a new washcloths and towels, and was told to bring the old ones down that they didn’t have anymore clean, was told in the very beginning that we had the safest room in the hotel, which did not make us feel safe. In my opinion we should get our money back. Worst hotel I’ve ever seen!!

It's not a very clean or nice hotel. We had to stay because it was the only one available that week due to the events going on but definitely don't recommend this as a first option especially given the rates. It's in a decent area but most eateries close early. The staff is ok.

Stayed over the weekend for an event booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and the services for pretty good . Front desk were very helpful and patient during our stay. Rooms were kept clean and provided good service. May be more breakfast options could be considered.
Many restaurants in walkable distance . Nice stay overall.
