Great RV lots to rent or to purchase. Gorgeous lake and Gorgeous RV Park. Friendly lot owners who accepted us as renters and made us feel welcomed. Larry, Connie, Kirk, and Tammy were our neighbors. Brandy, the Parks manager, was SUPER helpful and gave us some great restaurants to visit!

Peaceful Lake views and vibes, quiet park, easy paved level sites, heading north was recommended to take 59 to Fort Payne, exit onto 35 and turn onto 67 and follow it to the park, BEWARE OF STEEP GRADE NEAR END OF 35 when you’re within a couple miles of 67, Brandy sent excellent communication and since we knew our spot # and checked the map before arrival we drove right in and parked for the night, even though most spots are back in they do have some pull thrus, though the back ins are quite easy to maneuver into. Would stay again! Also really great nightly rate, best in AL!

We landed here for the month and had a great stay! We had a chance to hike all of the nearby trails and enjoy the weather here. It did get cold a few times but not bad all and all.

Brandy was awesome and we couldn't have asked for a better stop.

We hiked a few of the nearby trails and made a stop up to "Unclaimed Baggage" in Scottsboro.

One of the cleanest well maintained campgrounds there is. Mostly folks that are 40 and older. Very quiet at night usually by 8pm. Very safe and has some great people. There are not lots of kids here, most of the long term folks are retired. Great fishing and fun activities for adults.

Windemere is a well kept RV resort with paved, level lots. The lake view is beautiful and there is a picnic pavilion and fire pit on the shore. A launch ramp is on site, too. Guests have access to the pool and clubhouse. It is a short distance from Guntersville and the state park. We enjoyed our stay!

We stayed for several nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The campground is clean, spacious, quiet, on a lake. We rented a boat and spent time on Lake Guntersville. We had a picnic on the property, had room to walk our dog and a level clean site to park our fifth wheel. Will definitely return to this campground.

We camped here while my husband competed in a nearby Labrador Retriever hunt test. This is a lovely campground kept in pristine condition. Every site has a concrete pad with FHU. I think most of the sites are owned or leased by long-term residents. There are beautiful views of the river. The clubhouse is exceptionally nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Onsite laundry facilities came in handy. Due to the weather we did not have the opportunity to use the pool. we only stayed for the weekend so we did not have the opportunity to check out local restaurants or shopping. We did travel to Scottsboro to pick up a few things. I would not consider this a kid friendly campground only because there is no playground and I didn’t see any children anywhere. I would return with my husband for a peaceful getaway but wouldn’t consider this park if traveling with my grandchildren.

After seeing a recommendation of Windemere Cove from someone in an RV group on Facebook, we changed our plans and booked a month here. We are thrilled we did! This place is so incredibly peaceful and quiet. It's a fabulous place to decompress and chill out. Their lake views are amazing! We are here for a couple more weeks, and taking chairs and drinks out on their dock at night for happy hour is the best! The sites are basic, but they are all paved, large enough for big rigs, and super clean. The staff members are as friendly and as helpful as anyone can be. They have a beautiful clubhouse and swimming pool. We have met some terrific people here (rentiers as well as lot owners) and everyone is loving it. If you have a boat, bring it. They have a nice launch to Lake Guntersville within the park. This place will stay on our list as a "go to" place to visit again.
