We had a wonderful time at Willowbrook Bed and breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic. We enjoyed the cats. All the rooms are beautiful. Sandra has put a lot into each and every aspect of this beautiful home.

Willowbrooke received five stars only because we couldn't give it the seven or eight that it deserves.

Willowbrooke is several steps above the accommodation we normally book.
Still, it was incredibly good value.
Especially considering the cost of accommodation in Granville itself. Willowbrooke is quite the bargain.

It is only a few minutes by car from Granville, and this is more than compensated for by the peace and tranquility of the rural setting.

We stayed in the cottage, which was clean, comfortable, and lacked for nothing. If you are after something better, perhaps you are asking for too much. 🙂

A typical story of the type of service Sandra provides is that she found an electrical charger that I had inadvertantly left behind. Sandra contacted me, and then posted it to our next destination.

Then there are the breakfasts! Sandra is the epitome of good hosting. Nothing is too much trouble. She really went out of her way to ensure that we had what we wanted, and plenty of it.
We always had something to take with us to go with our mid-morning coffee.
Three recommendations are her pancakes, the zucchini bread, and her brownies.

The dining room itself is stunningly elegant.

The friendly (but not intrusive) cats provided an extra bonus.

Alex and Sarah from Michigan. My husband and I stayed here during our Christmas vacation and absolutely loved our stay. The owner Ms. Sandra is a very kind lady, with such great class and taste. She makes a delicious and filling breakfast, and has gorgeous table and eating ware; I felt like I was in a different time. What a memorable and delightful experience.

The rooms have everything to make the most of your stay. We stayed in the Garden Suite for 5 nights and had the most relaxing, and peaceful time. We used the grill, and the kitchen which was supplied with all dinnerware. We made ourselves a good steak dinner with wine one of our evenings there.

The private land that surrounds the home is quiet, peaceful, and beautiful to stroll around. The home is beautiful and kept up very well.

There is wifi, internet, cable, and streaming. The Jacuzzi's are amazing.

The town of Newark is not far and if you need anything, you will find it there including grocery, shopping, and a nice movie theatre.

Our quarters were very clean, neat, and comfortable. The prices are great and you certainly get what you pay for.

Feather bed toppers are amazing! The breakfast was wonderful each morning. Lots of outdoor space to explore. Sandra was very accommodating, around if you needed anything. Room had everything I needed for the perfect getaway. Can’t wait to return!

This place has a beautiful setting, in the woods. Its very quiet. We have stayed there a few times, in two different rooms. Both rooms were very tastefully decorated and had jacuzzi tubs. The beds were very comfortable. Sandra is a great host. It feels like you are staying with family. The breakfasts are delicious! She uses fruit from local farms that's in season. There is not one thing I would change about this place. This time we brought our 14 month old daughter with us, it was a last minute decision we had to make, and Sandra was so accommodating! Every time I'm just amazed about how wonderful this place and the host are. If you need a relaxing get away, this is the bed and breakfast for you.

We really enjoyed our stay at the WillowBrooke B&B. Sandra was very accommodating and kind. Her breakfasts were delicious and she utilized seasonal foods. The Tudor style architecture and decor were beautiful and being surrounded by woods it took us to another time and place.
Everything was very clean. The bedding and towels were very plush. The year-a-around jacuzzi was outstanding. So relaxing. We hope to visit again.

My husband and I spent New Year’s Eve, 2019, in the Master Suite. It was perfect for our celebration. This suite has everything: a gas burning fireplace, a separate room with a Jacuzzi hot tub and so many nice touches for our convenience and comfort like candles, dimmer lights on both side of the bed and robes to use in the outdoor hot tub. There is even a little tv set in the Jacuzzi room. ||We spent a relaxing afternoon watching movies; there is a huge selection of DVD’s and even VHS tapes to pick from. Instead of eating dinner out, we brought snacks and ate at the large glass table in the room. The breakfast was simple, but perfectly cooked, filling and delicious.||Sandra is gracious and friendly. We enjoyed spending time talking with her and she thinks of everything to make the visit as nice as possible. She is also a true animal lover - there are two friendly cats in the house and one of them came to visit us in our room, which we loved. ||The setting is beautiful, secluded in the woods, but close enough to Granville to visit the shops and look at the old houses. The house is clean and quiet and we loved our stay very much. We look forward to going back, and can’t wait for our next visit!

Willowbrooke was a perfect stay for relaxing and refreshing. The bed was super comfortable. Everything was clean. The staff (including the two cats) were friendly without being intrusive. Breakfast was delicious and large. We stayed in the Garden Suite, which was larger than our first apartment. It came with a full kitchen. I can't really say enough nice things about this bed and breakfast.
