Wildwood Inn and Llama Farm Bed and Breakfast - New Straitsville, Ohio

My wife and I stayed two nights at the end of August. Mike and Jan were amazing hosts and the entire process from start to finish from renting to checking and was very straightforward. They had four llamas during our stay, with one young one that was just seven weeks old, they were very fun and we got to hand feed them and help walk them from one pen to another, quite an experience. We were served breakfast at whatever time we specified which was nice being able to pick our starting time for the day. We stayed in the room with and included bathroom, they had two other rooms with a shared bathroom that were a little cheaper.

They are definitely in the woods. So, be prepared for some driving and a bit of dust from some of the dirt roads out there. But all in all it was an absolutely amazing experience and very rejuvenating for us. They also provided us with wireless internet which was good enough for a few days trip. We also drive an EV Chevy bolt and they gave us 110 outlet to use overnight while we were there which was very helpful (make sure to bring your charger).

They had a fire in the pit on the deck on Friday night but we were a little too tired to attend after our long day. The nights out there are extremely dark and you can see the Milky Way and enjoy the sounds of the birds and insects throughout the day/night. It definitely was a far cry from our more urban home. Highly recommended and will tell everyone about our experience, thanks so much Mike and Jan. It was very enjoyable being with you.

My husband and I stayed for two nights for the fall foliages in the area. Our stay was beyond amazing. The room and the amenities are identical to the pictures on the website: homey, tidy, and clean. Homemade breakfast was generous and delicious. We also had a three-course dinner here and we totally recommend it.

We enjoyed the warm hospitality and all conversations we had with Mike and Jan. We even got to walk the llamas! How cool is that! Will definitely come back.

We had a fantastic weekend with Jan and the llamas. Jan was welcoming, gracious and generous. Feeding the llamas was a highlight of the weekend. I have limited mobility and was concerned but there is a ramp up the back of the house and all visitor living areas are on the same level. We sat in the yard and watched the llamas and on the deck on the back of the house. relaxing with a rich songbird soundtrack. Breakfast was homemade to order and was fresh, generous and delicious. We look forward to returning when the leaves change in the fall or when a baby llama arrives.
