If you are looking to unplug from the grind and reconnect with self, each other or breath a little deeper and slower this is your place. It might feel out of the ordinary from regular hotel stays when you first pull in but go with it and give it a chance. What a beautiful and restful place to quiet the outside world and have a few days of peace. My family had two cabins next to each other which was nice to spread out and still be near each other. The cabins were clean and welcoming. I found myself curling up on the oversized chairs daily to ready and look out at the pretty surroundings. We never did turn the TV or movies as it was just so peaceful to listen to music and enjoy the place and family. I even found my daughter curled up playing her guitar in one of two hammocks on the property playing entertaining the ferns, trees and even a deer we saw the first day. At night there were fairy lights and flashlights provided to wonder paths on the grounds. The beds were very comfortable - first time my back wasn't sore so now I need to buy that same mattress for home! 🙂 It was hard to get up from the cozy little cabin in the mornings. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening watching the sun go down and like that we had the freedom to make a cup of tea or snack in the Guest Inn while we played a game of chess and visited with each other. The staff on site was very accommodating and unobtrusive.||We were blessed with the most beautiful fall weather for our 5 day visit. The lush vegetation of ferns and trees and a view of the ocean was exactly what we were looking for in our get-away. Its a walk to the beach, or you can drive too at just half a mile. There were some fun restaurants and a market if you want to pick up something to fix. We recommend Mr. Ed's especially on Wed as it's there open mic night and the pizza is so so YUM! Close enough to go see some redwoods in northern California or other Oregon attractions.||I can't wait to revisit in the summer and spend more time on the beach. It's become a favorite destination for us to unplug and reconnect.

So in all honesty we did not stay the night here. We reserved a night and took our things to the cabin but quickly decided it wasn't for us. We stayed in several places over our week stay in Oregon and they were all what I expected. I didn't realize how remote and rustic these cabins were. They were furnished with antiques and it smelled like an antique store. It felt dark and was much smaller than I expected. My husband found it 'creepy'. We never made it to the main cabin to check that out or walked the grounds besides walking to cabin so I cannot say anything about that. My interaction with the owners was thru email and they seemed nice. Of course because of us backing out we still had to pay for our one night but we decided we felt more comfortable in our car than we did the cabin.

This is not your typical hotel experience. In the very best way! Our cabin was nestled among towering trees that encompass each of the handful of cabins at Wild Spring. The shared guest house has a full kitchen where assorted breakfast items are available each morning and all the equipment you’d need to make your own meals in the evening. The views from the deck are incomparable! The hot tub is a real highlight! Staff made sure to clean the leaves (it is among the trees after all) and preheat it for us. Such a peaceful and relaxing stay

Arrived circa 8:30 PM in driving rain, no one on site. Retrieved the 5 pages of instructions from the mailbox at entryway, grabbed the 2 wheel luggage cart and lugged our stuff to our cabin. Following the complicated instructions to open the door, my wife immediately sensed a very strong cigarette odor, I followed and the cabin reeked of cigarettes. We are not overly sensitive to a slight cigarette odor but it was too much. I called the site manager per the instructions and she told me that I was mistaken and it was impossible. She then stated that I must be smelling smoke from a wood burning stove 2 cabins away. Stunned by this response, I invited her to come to the cabin and smell it. She told me that the owner was gone and she didn't want to drive across town (Port Orford is a very, very small town). Her demeaner the whole time insinuated that we were lying, overly sensitive or crazy. So in the dark, rainy night, we carted the luggage back to the car and left to find and drive to alternate accommodations.

Wildspring is beautiful, tranquil and a really nice place to stay. I cannot say enough about how nice the whole environment is. Our cabin was comfortable (we had the one with a woodstove) and very comfy. All in all it was a perfect place for our anniversary getaway.

We could not have stayed at a more beautiful and relaxing property. The woods surrounding the cabins are tranquil and stunning. The owners have obviously pored a lot of love into this property and it we felt privileged to stay in what is a very harmonious synergy with the natural surroundings. The hot tub with its view of the ocean is amazing.

My wife and I spent 1 night in cabin 2. We were traveling down the coast and booked this relatively last minute as it looked like a nice change of pace. We were really thrilled with the overall experience! It is really a place of solitude and quiet beauty.
The emailed instructions to check-in were clear and accurate. The cabins are a short walk (30 seconds to 1 minute) walk from the check-in pavilion area, and they provide a luggage cart if you need it.
The cabin was clean, cozy and very quaint. Super quiet outside except for birds and nature sounds.
The guest lodge is 3 to 5 minute walk away (up a small hill) and has a beautiful view of the ocean. It has lots of books, games, and DVD movies. the kitchen is open at all times, and has extra food put out during breakfast.
We found the whole experience very charming and would have liked to spend more time relaxing there.

Note - if you are looking for a 'standard' hotel experience, you may be better off at a chain hotel. If you want something unique and special, this is definitely a great option along the Oregon coast!

Spectacular location along Hwy 101 to rest and take in the scenery of the Oregon Coast. Well kept property and beautifully decorated cabins.

The place brings you back in time to the early 2000s and we loved every moment of it including watching an old DVD in the room.

Jacuzzi was a great break from the cold watching an amazing Oregon sunset 🌅. Could not have asked for more.

Thank you for allowing us to share some peace and quiet at your beautiful property.
