The Wild Goose Lodge is a must if you or your loved ones are traveling this way. Conveniently located right along 39 just above the California border. Check in was easy and the man was one of the most friendly I have ever met. The room was clean, cozy and made up in an expert fashion. Check out was a breeze thanks to the one-of-a-kind system in use here. Ask him about it.

I’ve stayed at the Wild Goose many times over the years. It’s a nice/quiet lodge in the cool little town of Merrill. The people who’ve owned it the last few years have made some great upgrades: new heating/air units, keyless entry, the simplest check-in/out procedure ever, and strong WiFi. The rooms are always spotless! Highly recommended.

I parked my trailer at The Wild Goose and was very happy as it was just over 20 min. from the dog trial location. In addition, the customer service was outstanding! It started immediately with the ease of reservations and continued as I was assisted in backing into my spot and had any and all questions addressed. I’m just sorry I missed breakfast!

We do an annual pheasant hunting trip every year and a large group of us stays here. The rooms are nice there is ample space, and the recreation room is great, we were able to use it to cook dinner every night and makes it a lot more convenient then trying to find a place to eat. Mark is wonderful on our latest trip I accidentally left my chefs knife in the rec room and went home (I live like 500 miles away) and Mark was able to get it mailed back to me! That is above and beyond customer service if you ask me!

We were looking for a place to stay on our way back from Reno, NV to Oregon and found Wild Goose Lodge Motel through reviews on Google Maps. The reviews didn’t disappoint! This motel has everything you could want in a boutique stay. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfy, the whole property was very well-kept. The owner greeted us when we checked in and was so kind to our newly adopted dog. We even got to take her to the designated dog run area they have. Highly recommend you stay here! And make sure to get a milkshake from Polar Bear down the street 😊

Sweet little spot in a quaint tiny town. Stayed one night during a road trip and loved it, like stepping back in time! Paid half what we paid the previous night at a national hotel chain and we liked it better. Run by very nice people, everything was spotless and in good working order. Excellent beds. This will be our new go to when heading south from Central Oregon!

Easy check in. Very clean rooms and we did not have any noisy neighbors. Bed was a little firm for me but the other ladies had no complaints. Everything in the rooms seem to be updated. There is a cute little courtyard. Chairs outside each room so you can gather and sit.
