Their food is delicious, so it pains me to say, but their service was absolutely terrible. We came during s holiday weekend, granted, but our online order was supposed to be ready by 5:05. I didn't have the food in hand until 5:50, and even then they got our order completely wrong. A total lack of communication and transparency made out quick visit take an entire hour, and when I brought this up to the manager, her response was "no matter what, you wouldn't be happy". So this will be the last time we order, unfortunately.

Counter order & pickup, self serve beverages. Shareable combo plate good value; pulled pork, chopped chicken, sliced brisket and 4 baby back ribs with 3 sides. Ribs a bit dry but delicious rub. Chicken and pulled pork great smoke flavor. Brisket sliced with grain so it was stringy but good flavor. Sides were delicious (fried okra, potato salad, sweet baked beans). Like the ambiance with plentiful seating (large room for very large parties), good jazz and lots of trophies to prove how good it really is. Great sauce selection too.

They have multiple sauce choices on the table. My pulled pork sandiwch was mouth watering, the bbq-nachos were ok, and my rib plate was great. Great place to grab a quick bite to eat, staff was very nice. I will definitely be back.

Stopped here on a motorcycle ramble. It was a good choice. They have 2 registers to take your order which makes it move along well. The dining area was very clean and plenty of room even for large parties. Food was ready quick. I had the 1/2 smoked chicken with okra and slaw. Everything was perfect!

Update:
I want to emphasize that we love Whole Hog Cafe and have been patrons for many years. The owner reached out to me and rectified the experience when we visited at the end of of a busy New Years Eve, after reading this review.
We have visited many times over many years. I placed a phone order to pick up. I asked and paid for extra sauce as I ordered a family pack. When I went in to pick up the order the person at the front seemed less than “friendly”. I checked my order at the counter and noticed there were only 3 tiny containers of two different sauces. I asked if the extra sauce was put into the bag because to me, what was there didn’t look like enough to get with the family pack. She said it was all there. Rather than question her as she seem annoyed by me checking and asking about the quantity of sauce, I took my order and drove the hour home.
The potato salad which was always my favorite thing, didn’t taste like I remembered. The baked beans that I remembered were not as flavorful and didn’t have any meat in them which I seem to remember. The slaw seemed like cabbage only and didn’t have any flavor and seemed “dry”. The pulled pork consisted of very dry meat with a lot of dark brown, very hard pieces. This is the first time in many years we were disappointed with our experience and food.

My family and I have been coming here every Sunday for about 3 weeks and we planned on making it a ritual for us because the food is just AMAZING! however the woman at the counter today was just very rude and even told us to move out of the way because my husband was holding our baby in front of the other register I guess, he was also called ma’am lol. Just put a damper on the whole experience because we genuinely love this place. If it had not been for that experience we would be coming here next Sunday but I’m a little conflicted. 😭🫶

Pretty good bbq! The okra was the best restaurant okra I think I’ve ever had, the beans were just okay to me. The ribs were meaty, smoky, and tasty. The sliced brisket was subpar in my opinion, any time I get thinly sliced brisket I feel a shortcut has been taken. It had okay flavor but was dry, gray, and below average compared to what other restaurants are serving for brisket these days. I’d eat here again but skip the brisket.
