Would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone! Have stayed here many times In the past six years. We have stayed at the lodge and the cabin. Both are fantastic. The decks are an amazing touch. Both have fire pits and grills stocked with charcoal and firewood. A lot of the resorts here Have their cabins very closely spaced. That’s not at the White River Trout Lodge! Very relaxing and the bank fishing available is amazing. I have caught my biggest rainbow and brown trout in front of the cabin. The owners are always helpful and accommodating. They have allowed us to check out late or early depending if they have other people coming in.

We are a family of 13, Grannie and Grandpa, 3 sets of parents and 5 grandchildren ages 3 to 6. We rented the whole Lodge for the Solar Eclipse weekend and it was the perfect place for us. The accommodations are spacious and very clean. The kitchens had all the necessary equipment. The outside decks are magnificent! The peaceful views across the White River to the cedar bluff are gorgeous. The Smith family is very nice, and very helpful. They didn’t even get mad when we overloaded an electrical circuit and tripped a breaker. I would strongly recommmend White River Trout Lodge to anyone seeking a peaceful and restful place to get away from it all. And the fishing is great too. Our 5 year old grandson went fishing for the first time and caught three nice size trout in about 30 minutes! On a Snoopy rod!

We stayed in “the Cabin” and could not be more pleased. Everything you could possibly need is provided and you can just relax and enjoy the peaceful location. Miss Jo Anna asked if we would like a fishing guide and she connected us with Phillip Rice who was simply amazing.

Simply, great lodging and equally great fishing. Definitely will be back!

Majestic White River views with down home service. The owners are amazing and the Red Shed is a cozy, completely furnished place to stay. Nice deck going down to the river with access to a grill, picnic tables, and fire pit.

Bill and Jo Anna are great people, easy to work with and have a beautiful property. The main cabin is perfect for our yearly trip to the White River with 10-15 good friends. This is a great location to disconnect and recharge, and I am looking forward to coming back next year!

Very nice inside and out. Spent a lot of time on the deck that had comfortable chairs and a grill overlooking the White River. We even fished from the lower deck. The lodge was well maintained and very clean. We plan on visiting again soon!

A vacation with a home feel! This is the place. Go fishing with their amazing guide then come back to the lodge cook on the grill and take in the view. And let me tell you that AC works haha and in this heat. The view is nonstop breathtaking and no traffic sounds or anything.
