Great price, clean & quiet. It's in walking distance for a lot of places if you go for a walk. The manager is super nice & responsive. Will definitely stay again.

It was my intention to hunker down for mushroom season, and use the hotel as basecamp. IMO this is one of the best locations to access a ton of ground for foraging oppurtunities.

The host/managers are absolutely amazing people. The hospitality I received is unmatched. Plus, I was offered advice on where to go and what might be available.

If you want to spend all day at a resort, on-site, go ahead and stay in Phoenix.

If your seeking adventure, beautiful country, solitude in the forest, and are an active person in your travels: WMH is choice.

We usually stay in the bargain hotels, and this is one we'd go back to, without a doubt. The owner/manager was so nice. We'd forgot our credit card in the lobby and he brought it to our room. He works around the place, and seems to take pride in it. |The dog charge is the most reasonable I've encountered. It's within walking distance of a restaurant. The hotel was clean, and worth the price for an overnight. |Yes, it's a small room, but has all necessities, including refrigerator and microwave. I'm not sure why it's listed under other...|If you like bargain rooms with some patina to them, this is for you, too.

Loved our 3 day 2 night stay. Rooms were extremely comfortable with a big flat screen TV, bigger size refrigerator, Microwave and a decent size kitchenette . The kitchen worked best for us as we were travelling with our two toddlers. The owner/manager was friendly, he was gracious enough to advise us all the best eateries and places around. The motel location is perfect,it is only 15miles away from Sunrise skie resort..||Will definitely visit again...

We stayed for 1 week in a large room with 2 separate rooms. One for us and one for the kids. There was a modest breakfast each morning that was perfect. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It is an older building but we liked the nostalgia. For the price it was great.

Decent Motel room. You're basic bed, bath, TV, microwave. However the Owners were a little rude at check in, and came by 3 different times in the morning knocking on my door BEFORE check out. Woke me up, and upset me. At check at out I called to complain about the disturbance but the owner just wanted to argue. Terrible customer service. Room ok.

I stayed for one night at the White Mountain Motel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The tv service was better than most other motels/hotels and offered a lot of options. The employees were very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Rooms small but very nice. Large Tv, micro/ fridge. Quite, close to most stores and restaurants.great price! Dog friendly. Very cool owners. The businesses shut down very early, so get there early if you want to look around.
