This is a very old and small hotel, but it is so nice! Our room was the cleanest motel room I think I've ever been in. The staff was very accommodating. It couldn't have been a better experience! A+

Very friendly and helpful management. Not always staffed but they answer the cell phone number taped to the door in their absence. Rooms run very hot in the summer and are under served by small window units turned off by default. Takes many hours to get the room cooled. Rough finishes throughout the room but a serviceable and clean bed. No soap to be found anywhere, but Dollar General is close. You certainly do not over pay for the stay, which is why when I'm in the field I'll stay again.

My family and i are currently travling and is having problems... Well we were brought to this motel and have been treated extremely awesome. The rooms are nice and clean. The lady at front deal is very friendly, nice, helpful, and polite.. I couldn't have a better experience especially at a time where we needed it the most.

Very friendly people! My husband is currently working in wheeler Texas. My daughter and I stayed a week and it has been awesome it’s safe a kid friendly. My daughter is 2 years old she has had blast. We will definitely be coming back if my husband continues to work here.

I love this little motel is not fancy but have all we need, a comfortable bed, hot shower, TV, Wi Fi, Telephone, they even have wake up calls! The cleaning lady is so sweet, we are definitely staying there again if we happen to pass by again some day!

This place is closed. However, when I called the number someone, reportedly from OYO, whatever that is, answered the phone, told me they were from 'Wheeler Inn Texas,' gave me a 'reservation' and then tried to take my money. When the PayPal did not go through they said I could pay when I arrived. I arrived to find a very small roadside motel in the process of being renovated.

I was trapped in a two-day ice storm and I saw the sign, Honey Dew Inn. The proprietor was very courteous and accommodating. The room was average. I have been in much worse, even some of the "big" names in the motel business that was crappy. For the price I paid, I was totally satisfied. If you don't want to spend a fortune for things you don't need, then Honey Dew Inn would be the place to stay. Yes, I would stay again.
