The southern Oregon coast is stunning. I have been fortunate to travel fairly extensively and it's way up there on my list.

Whaleshead Beach Resort though... woof. The view from our Cabin U-8, (Cabin in the Clouds) was outstanding. The cabin itself though- is just not rent-ready. Screens are broken so bugs got in, blinds are broken or missing so at night you're wide open to your neighbors. A water main in the park broke and we were out of water for an afternoon. Our fridge leaked water so we had to find a bucket to use to collect it all. All of these concerns were sent to our contacts with Vacasa and we received 0 assistance. The response we always get is "sorry for any inconvenience". I own a few rental properties and I'd have city inspectors and fines if I rented a unit in this condition.

Located across the street from beautiful beach view & less then 10 minutes to town. Stayed in cabin B15. Quiet wooded lot & view out back. Was clean & nice decor minus the rug in bedrooms which didn’t bother me. Nice size kitchen, MB, living room & comfortable. Lots of hot water, towels & kitchen supplies. |The downside is the 2nd bedroom loft ceiling is very low, less then 5 feet tall so you need to bend the whole time standing up & stairs are narrow & steep don’t see getting luggage up there. |Bathroom can use a new toilet seat haven’t seen the soft cushion type in many years & a light cover is missing.|Check in staff were very friendly & helpful. We ate at the restaurant on property that was convenient & decent food. Cute place to stay & great location to local sites but definitely not fancy just so you know.

Great stay!

We have stayed at c-7 Creekside before as a couple. This time we brought another couple with us to see how well the unit works for a group of four using the main cabin and the annex. The close access to Whaleshead Beach and the whole Boardman Scenic Corridor was fantastic. Overall it was a great experience.

The main cabin was clean and comfortable. We used the well appointed kitchen to cook meals and everything we needed was provided.

The annex was great and it was super nice to have another bedroom that was not attached to the main cabin. The hot tub was a great addition to have. It was clean and well taken care of.

Altogether we had a great stay and hope to return!

I booked a weekend at Cabin I-7 for 3 friends and I in January and we had a good time after we dealt with getting the propane pilot light relit by the maintenance man. We had no heat, hot water or stove Friday night because housekeeping does not inform the office there was a notice from the propane service that the pilot light had to be lit. Once that was done, we enjoyed our spacious cabin very much. We hot tubbed, watched movies, walked on beaches, went out to eat, and had a wonderful time just relaxing. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the Pacific from the patio and the dining room. This cabin can sleep 8 and has 2 bathrooms. It is huge and beautifully upgraded throughout. Now that we know how to operate everything, we will stay in this cabin again. The queen bedroom is located in the garage and accessed from the deck. It doesn't have a bathroom, so you have to cross the deck and enter the main cabin by one of its several exterior doors. Perfect room for someone who snores or who needs more quiet or privacy. We used the foldaway bed in the laundry room (see photo) and were happy.

We stayed in ov3 for the weekend. We had a nice weekend exploring the beautiful beaches in the area and other interesting places. Stefanie’s restaurant has the best breakfast anywhere!!! The cabin was “meh” it was weirdly laid out and decorated. We found heavily soiled pillows and blankets in the closets. The bedspread was soiled and many of the dishes in the cupboard were dirty. Old milk in the fridge. Torn screens on the windows were taped up with clear tape! Bathtub was filthy used body wash left in shower. Do not use signs on w/d. hot tub was kinda gross. The cover is shot and totally saturated making it very heavy to take off and worse to put back on. No cover lift! Two weird jets above water line that annoyingly and loudly spray into the air, no way to shut them off! Deck overlooks 101 and you can definitely hear and see cars racing by! Keep in mind that each cabin is individually owned so it’s the owners responsibility to maintain the property, but you would think that the management would have some rules in place where owners must abide by certain criteria. For the money we spent we were kinda disappointed. Probably will not stay there again unless we could inspect the cabin beforehand and decline without being charged! Only in an alternate world would that be possible!! 😉

Oh my goodness! I don't even want to write a review because I want to keep this place all to myself!! I am beyond happy with our stay here. The cabin was spectacular. Full of detail and so clean and just absolutely gorgeous. I was comfortable and enjoying every little moment. Our view was phenomenal. The hot tub was comfortable and clean. Our beds were so soft and cozy. We really made the best of this trip and enjoyed everything Whaleshead had to offer! Our host was extremely kind and courteous and so helpful. He was happy to get me exactly the room I was looking for. I will definitely be returning!

The A-24 unit was a DUMP. The hot tub was full of mildew and wreaked, the back door wouldnt latch shut, and there is exposed live electrical wire our daughter was shocked from touching before we noticed the health threat. This was a neglected dump.

Also the owner of the property should be upset these reviews occur. Perhaps this will cause a change to happen. Or I guess they may possibly suffer financial struggles later as these types of reviews will continue.

We have been coming here for years but will never be back again.
We booked 1 year in advance and the day we were to arrive they notified us that our hot tub was broke and moved us to another cabin that was so horrible and TINY! Then wanted to charge us even more. Thank God our guests canceled cause there was not an inch of space. Be advised that the price on the internet is not even close to what you will be charged and most cabins are the same price so chose one that sleeps 6 or more.
I wasn't aware they made that change and we paid $1,000 for 3 days in a tiny dirty DUMP! Hot tub water was green with sludge in it, shower curtain was held on by 5 hooks and the shower head was broke and hardly any water came out. Complained with no fixes. Toilet it flush right, bedspread had stains on it.
I could go on but I won't. JUST RENT A HOUSE you will be better off
