I have to be honest, this was a magical experience. I choose this place to celebrate my birthday and I was not disappointed. Everyone was amazing, courteous and supportive. I have never been to a resort that treated its guests like royalty. Karisa and her staff at the restaurant/bar were extremely patient and professional. Diane at the front desk was great. Greg who was tending the bar was awesome. Gladys and Jennifer were two amazing human beings. I know I am missing people to mention but literally everyone that worked from Feb 15-20 was amazing and blew our minds. I wish I could remember everyone’s names.

We had a very peaceful and relaxing week long stay. This resort will now be our go to spot each winter. Awesome amenities and the staff were all very kind. We especially liked talking with Rosa - she even picked little oranges for us and then brought them poolside so we could enjoy them freshly picked. We can’t wait to come back! 😊

Lovely hotel in a great location. Restaurant is very nice too. The suite was excellent until somebody moved into the one above us, and then you could hear every foot step as the floor creaked. The facility is quite old and quaint, but with that comes the creaking floors. On the plus side of being downstairs is that the patio opened up right on to the desert.

We stayed here over New Years with our family and my sister’s family (kids ages 12, 10, 6, 8, and 5). We all found the property beautiful and well maintained. The rooms were comfortable even for 5 people. The kids loved the pool which was heated to a very comfortable temperature. We ate at the restaurant on property and found the food to be good (if not great) and the servers bent over backwards to accommodate our party of 9 at the last minute on New Years Eve. We found the lobby to be a cozy spot to hang out and play cards and the nature trail was a wonderful way for our kids to see the desert and move their bodies. I highly recommend this resort for a relaxing family vacation.

We booked this hotel for 2 nights. The room layout is great, lovely service & incredible views/ property!
Pros:
- the pools/ hot tub options
- the property, trails and views
- the location is scenic
- rooms are nice with a patio

Cons:
- only 5 TV channels work
- pillows are awful.. lol
- shower head isn’t great

We love the space in the bathroom, and the cleanliness was nice! Rooms seem to be relatively updated! We did go to the front lobby for breakfast, it was “okay” nothing special. Service was great though! Would definitely stay again!

Large comfortable bed, room and bathroom, lovely view looking west. We enjoyed evenings on the little patio watching the sunset and desert. The grounds are well maintained with beautiful landscaping. Plenty of parking. We enjoyed the hot tub. The weather wasn't quite warm enough to use the unheated pool. We liked having the walking trails so close. We heard coyotes in the evening! Disappointed that housekeeping staff kept replacing all our towels even though we hung them up to be reused (per the tag in the bathroom). They didn't remember to replace the coffee cream though. One morning housekeeping knocked before we were out of the room, we said we would be leaving in about a half hour. We returned at around 5 pm to find our room exactly as we left it-they obviously hadn't returned. It took several minutes of having to run the water for sink and shower water to get hot, very wasteful having to run water for such a long time! The thermostat has such a bright light that we couldnt turn down so we had to put a towel over it at night. TV kept cutting out and pixelating. Bathroom skylight gave great natural light, don't forget to close the bathroom door overnight if you want to sleep in!

Unfortunately our one night stay was far less than satisfactory. We were in transit through Tucson with an RV- 36’ towing a 1/2 ton. I phoned in advance about parking the unit overnight and was told “no problem”. Of course it was a big mistake to pull the unit up to the front entrance. We ended up blocking traffic. One of your staff was very helpful in helping me maneuver the unit to the upper parking area where it was at least out of the way a bit. We booked into your restaurant for 5:30 and at 5:15 I got a call from your front desk asking if I would move my unit to a lower parking lot as the parking was needed due to being busy. I said no. In the morning on assessing the tight quarters, I was left with no alternative but to disconnect the 1/2 ton and jockey the rv to get it out of your parking lot. There were dozens of empty spots in the parking lot in the morning by the way so I am not sure what the parking crisis was. Adding insult to injury we had no heat in our room - #308 (terrible room by the way). The system blew cold air all night with temp down as low as 55 degrees. The status said the room was “ unoccupied”.
So, no, we did not enjoy our stay.

My stay was very enjoyable due to the wonderful staff working. Those that come to mind that were especially helpful and gave so generously of their time were Robb, Diane, Aiden and Chris. I would recommend to my friends and colleagues this resort. The rooms were spacious and clean. Most of the amenities were without charge which was new to me as most other resorts have a charge for off site visits and laundry. A big mahalo (thank you) to the wonderful staff.
