Westward Inn - Brookings, Oregon

The two things my wife and I want in a hotel room are cleanliness and a comfortable bed. We got both here at the Westward Inn located in Brookings at a great value. We are both in the sensitive to animal odors and this hotel has no pet rooms, which is what we look for. You won't gat a lot of frills, just a clean, comfortable room in a handy location at a good rate. That is all we ask for and Westward delivered.

Sickology

This place is awesome, comes equipped with a very, absolutely great, shower for disabled people. Plenty of space, handles, and a shower chair. Would return if possible.

Also every employee seems to be happy, enthusiastic, and nice to talk to. Even the Owner (?) or manager, is a great person. He might talk to you for awhile though lol.

Don't let outside pictures throw you off, internet is great, no in fact it's awesome. WIFI alone can handle a steam download, twitch streaming, Gaming, all at once and the TV is HUGE, I think 55 in?

Positive: It was clean with a comparable good value. For an older facility, it's in pretty good shape. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. I just needed a room for a quick overnight stay. This was perfect for my needs. Negative: There was a bit of road and neighbor noise, but tolerable. The toilet under the seat could have used a little more attention.

We arrived 4 hours early but the desk clerk checked us in anyway and said they'd have a room ready in 2 hours. The motel is lovely, with big pots of geraniums out front of each door. The rooms are large, with table and chairs, big TV, coffee, lots of soap, shampoo, etc. It's spotlessly clean, great air conditioning, good location. The only complaint I had was that the beds were soft, and I prefer a hard bed, but it seems most hotel beds are soft these days. People were friendly. There's a bakery and Mexican restaurant across the street you can walk to. This was my favorite hotel of our holiday.

We had a good stay here. The man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, and although there was a small problem with our bill, he sorted it out instantly and with a smile. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was good, allowing for an uninterrupted night's sleep. The motel is just off the main road, but it's a fairly quiet area and we didn't have any problems with noise. There are restaurants and stores within walking distance. We'd happily stay here again if we were in the area.

The room was clean, and the furniture was typical of a motel. The front desk clerk was very nice. We both slept well in the comfortable bed.

Manager at the reception area stayed for my late check in which was greatly appreciated due to some traffic issues on the 101. Motel was very clean and one of the few in the area with more than two beds since we are picky.

Location was great since it's off the 101 but be aware of traffic noises as expected though.
