We are on an impromptu trip and landed near here for the night. The room are very reasonably priced, the beds were comfy, the room clean, and even a small table for sitting to eat. Would definitely recommend this place.

The room was super clean! There were some loud people, but it didn't last long. Loved that there were signs stating no smoking of anything!! We will stay again!

Condition is kinda what you expect for the price. But traffic noise and noise from other units made it hard to get any sleep at all. Heck the cops even showed up next door for some reason. So if staying here. No matter what they say about road noise. Try to get a room further from the road. We were three rooms back from the road. Not good.
Hope this helps.. CCS

There are drapes on either side of the window which look out into the parking lot. They can neither be pulled closed nor opened further, as they are just ornamental. To close visual access to the room from the outside, we used the pull-down shade screen; it was a little creepy.||The lights in the room are strange and poorly designed / wired. There was no night stand light, only a light on the same wall as the bed that was wired to the switch -- which was just inside the door on the wall, far across the room from the bed. So to turn off the light in the room to go to bed, you get to go to the door, and turn it off at the switch just inside the door. The other light - also an LED that was in the ceiling - would often work, and also often not.||2 smaller pillows on the bed; I usually sleep with 4, but OK, I'm not at home. The bed was comfortable.||Over towards the wash basin there is a nice sized fridge and a microwave.||There is more water pressure in the sink than in the shower. We tried to shower together, but that was impossible; too little water flow. There seemed to be a eco water saver device on the water supply line; what a great way to under deliver water and make the guest irritated. ||The decor was early thrift store. There was a former hotel that was razed several years before (Mar Clair Inn), and it looked as though perhaps the dresser and night table may have been salvaged from there, with perhaps a new plastic top put on and then routered and painted. ||The floor was some kind of faux wood plank, maybe LVP. It may have been swept, but it certainly was never mopped, and definitely not clean. After removing my shoes and socks, and using the bathroom, and getting a beverage from the fridge, my feet were black. In the morning, I put the hand towel under one foot and bathmat under my other foot and walked to my bag on the couch and back to get dressed. The towels were very dirty from the dirty floor (pics). ||A tiny (24") tv is mounted on the wall, along with the satellite or cable box, too. No effort to tie the cables together; they just sort of droop and show. A larger tv and mounting it lower would have covered both the cable connection and power source, but it is on the Oregon coast / bay, in a less economically vibrant community.

I stayed here 2 years ago and the same front desk person was still here. Hotels have high turnover rates. They must be doing something right. I am a front desk supervisor at a hotel in Seattle so I know the paces staff goes through with guests that are high maintenance. Or will complain that they had to walk up a flight of stairs

Hot water is great. They have direct tv but oddly enough no weather channel. I wanna see Jim Cantore beat Hurricane Milton. Haha.

Nice little gift shop at the desk. Yes there is road noise. Why would you book a hotel next to a major roadway if you couldn’t deal with the noise? And don’t say you didn’t know. Do some critical thinking. Look at where the place you are booking is located. Hmm. Directly on 101. Might be noisy.

I stayed just one night and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the grounds, office and room was. Yes it is an older motel but I felt right at home in the room and the bed was super comfy!
The staff was amazing! Very sweet and down to earth. I even found a beautiful butterfly nightlight that was made by one of the employees or owners daughters- and she was donating the money! 🖤
I ll be staying here next time I’m in Tillamook for sure.

As others have said - the outside looks better than the inside. Stayed here for a night during a geology trip and there were some features in this room I wasn't expecting!

There's zero sound insulation, I could hear road traffic the entire night, people talking in their rooms, and cars/people in the parking lot. The beds are on solid wooden boards so there's no give whatsoever. You're better off sleeping on the sofa. Rooms are dated, the bathroom fan is a jet engine, and numerous signs posted around the room feel like they could charge any fees they feel like without recourse.

The only things I'd say are good is that the place was at least clean and located near many food places.
