Disgraceful….I stayed overnight for a funeral and this hotel was one of the only options at 12:00 a.m. I tried to get washed when I noticed the supposed to be white clothes appeared to be soiled. I called the front desk and he told me to come to the window to pick them up. When I arrived they were sitting outside the window. The toilet had brown stuff as if it wasn’t cleaned. I checked the beds as I normally do and there were blood spots on the sheets. I called front desk and he said “ you already called and housekeeping will not be in until tomorrow.” He was very rude in his delivery. I will never patronize this establishment again. They should be ashamed of themselves. I wouldn’t stay here if it’s the last place to stay. I will sleep in my car first. Beware, don’t stop, keep going, stay away. The health department needs to check this out.

I travel a lot for business so I stay in a lot of motels. I will tell you that the Western Fitzgerald is a cut above. Staff is friendly, maids give great service, and everything works in the room. The best part about it is it is really quiet. I sleep really well here and since I am working this is really important. Oh yeah, the WiFi rocks as well! I will be back here again.

Stayed there once with my wife for my grandmother's funeral. It was a decent experience, the staff was friendly, and the accommodations were great. All in all, I'd recommend staying a night or two

You get what you pay for. The room was clean, check in and out was not a problem (it took a few minutes for someone to come to the night window for check in). There is not much of a breakfast to speak of. The only real issue is that the room was very hot when we first got there (around 10:30 pm) and took over 1 hour to cool down once we got the ac unit going.

Positive: when we left a ring in the room. we called and the young man went to the room, found the ring and said would hold it for a friend of ours to pick up, which he did. we really appreciate his effort to help us Negative: Both mornings there was no hot breakfast that was advertised, not even coffee. would have make coffee in room but machine was not clean bedstand drawer was dirty.

Positive: Nothing at all Negative: They gave me a room in a Smoking room block. The smoke was so bad I had to sleep in my truck. Day 2, they move to a 1st floor room even though I asked for a top floor room. The people upstairs stayed up all night and I didn?t get any sleep.

So there were 7 people (plus one infant) in my group and we got 3 rooms, and we stayed for 4 nights traveling for leisure. Our room wasn’t bad as far as cleanliness (we got lucky though). It was old but clean and it appeared to have been remodeled recently. However my friends in the two other rooms reported a heavy smoker’s smell in their rooms despite having nonsmoking rooms (we later found the reason for this when we caught the housekeeper smoking in a room while she was cleaning it). Room service had much to be desired. There were three people in my room and they continued to leave us with a couple hand towels (no bath towels) and would only make one of the two beds in our room. A separate incident had one of my friends fuming when they were locked out of their room because the management “heard a dog barking” from their room while we were away and they changed the locks on them. My friends had a dog and paid for the dog to be there, and they also had the dog WITH THEM the entire day (not in the room). As a side note, they do have an outdoor pool and weight room. We didn’t use the pool because it was too cold outside but we did see the weight room, which appeared to be being remodeled, or at least I hope because the carpet was tore up and it had a very unpleasant smell (some combination of moldy sewer and BO). This was our first time visiting Fitzgerald and despite return plans, it will certainly not involve this motel in the future.
