Loved this place!! The book selections were solid but the standouts were definitely the notebooks/pens/stickers. Excellent large bookstore in downtown Middletown. Thoughtful, well-selected titles on display, plus a cafe, kids section, and various non-book gifts for sale. I liked how for some titles the staff put notes. That's always the sign of a great bookstore. The downstairs is full of Wesleyan items like shirts and hoodies. It's a great resource for the community.

Didn't know the store wasn't the same hours as the coffee section. I went under the red rope, I had just seen another woman do this.
After a few minutes I was approached by a guy, heavy pierced ear, with an attitude. I manage a coffee shop & wouldn't think about being so rude. I thank him for walking me to the door, I didn't know what a door was.
I won't be back & will tell everyone about the lovely experience. Good luck!

Great bookshop in downtown 500m from the university. Lots of students are around doing what students do. 4$ coffee, lots of places to sit, inside and out. Street parking where they still take coins. No surprises in book selection and price. Service folks fast and friendly. No complaints.
