I was stranded on the highway and ended up staying here for the night. Is this the Ritz? No. But it's clean, everything works, I felt safe. The guy at the front desk was quick. The price was great (book directly with the hotel, it'll be cheaper than through one of those booking sites).

For a shelter in a storm, this place is perfect

I am revisiting this review because it seems that the Wesleyan has done some remodeling. The rooms look very nice. They did a great job now weโ€™re not talking about you know Hilton luxurious. We are talking budget motel nice. I have stayed there for a couple of days because of my family being in town. The TVs or Samsung, they are flat screen and a good size for the room. I still think they use the same old bedspread because the bedspread still look like theyโ€™re from 1959, but the dressers and all the other furniture has been updated very nicely, I must say. We Can sometimes forget where we are with the furnishings of the room. Then everything comes back down into perspective as you watch a roach walk the cross the desk table. If you guys fix that bug problem, I will most definitely give you four stars!

Great value. Clean and exactly what I needed to refresh and hit the road. Front desk staff went out of their way to accommodate needs. Greatly appreciated and will always prioritize staying in solid owned motels such as this. You canโ€™t beat this price in this area and sleep comfortably.

This is not a place you want to take your children they're very strange people who stayed there the rooms are not that great and so they're kind of nasty the bathrooms are clean the carpets are dirty the walls of dirty the tables dirty I wouldn't put anything in the drawers. The staff is nice but the place is still way sketchy. Did not sleep under the blankets or use pillows they had burn holes in them. If it wasn't for an emergency I would never stay there in fact I didn't I left before my check out date.

As you drive up you see a sign that says "$39 a night." I paid MORE than that online. When I said I'd requested a room on the second floor, the woman said, rather rudely, "It will cost more." The room was very small with the air conditioner blowing directly on the bed. It was so damp that the sheets were wet and cold from the AC. The featherbed on top of the mattress and under the sheet was lumpy and crunchy, and we were allergic to the feathers. The bed curved up on the sides and pushed us toward the middle. Neither of us slept at all for two nights. We asked for a cancellation after the first night for our third night, giving them 24 hour notice. They wouldn't refund our money. It was so HORRIBLE we checked out anyway. They got us. Don't stay at this place.

When we first moved to the area, we went here thinking it was close to everything we needed. My husband who's a horribly scared of germs, nearly died walking into the place. So to start off this review i went to the desk, They charged me right away for the day. I asked for a no smoking room, she handed me the key. my husband went in first, and turned and went NOPE!, My daughter has CF, and i was pregnant at the time. And the Room WREAKED!!!! of weed, There was dead bee's around the door (on the inside) Mold on the wall, We didn't touch a darn thing. I went to the office well my husband waited outside the door with our kid. I go back in and i have the younger lady help me, who was nicer. I told her i wanted a non smoking room because of my daughters cf. She insisted that the room was fine so i lead her there, let her walk in and she then came out closed the door and tried to give us a different room, that room still smelled like smoke. I asked her for a refund. she told me they don't do refunds. And i told her that my daughter had CF (a lung decease ) So we needed to avoided smoke! it was ether a refund or i could send them my daughters hospital bill if something happens. She refunded it. We live in the area now for a year, and we see police go there at least once a week. Stay AWAY! They accept ANY ONES money. I give this 0 stars for familys, couples, normal people. I give it 5+++++ stars for someone who's bringing a "paid" friend.

This place is disgusting. There was hair all over the bathroom, the room smelled awful, and the person working at the desk was just plain rude. There were holes in the bathroom door and the bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned. We asked if we could switch rooms because this one was not clean, he basically told us to suck it up or get out. Then we decided to move elsewhere they charged us $20 for being there for a half hour because we used the garbage to throw away some things. DO NOT STAY HERE! It was the worst experience of my life.

3:40am. I am very tired. I just got back from a 4 hour round-trip drive to Wesleyan. My 18 year old son and his friend were there for a basketball tournament with their club team. When my son called at close to 11pm and I asked "how's it going?" and he said "as badly as it possibly could, except for the fact that no one got injured." Oh.||||After their last game, they were dropped off at the Wesley Inn at about 10:30. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before he got there..."permanent residents and rooms by the hour" is what the 1/2-star review stated. ||||My son told me that no water could be coaxed from the shower, the room was dirty and the sheets were used. There was no microwave for their food, as listed on the web site. ||||I told him to try to find another hotel, but he had no luck. He called me back to say that the place was really sketchy and that there are people loitering in the parking lot. He said "we can't stay here". I agreed. At 11:15, I got out of bed, got dressed and headed to CT from Boston.||||I get to the motel at 1:15. It's 1-story, with all the doors to the outside. I pull in and stop to call my son to figure out which unit he's in. I see a woman slumped over next to a vending machine in the parking lot, and a guy in a parka (it's too warm out for that...) approaches our car somewhat cautiously. He gets within 6 feet and I lock the doors. He then sees me and realizes that I am not his pimp or his dealer, and melts back towards the figure crumpled next to the Coke machine.||||I reach my son on the phone, who directs me to his unit. I pull over to his door, he opens it up and says "we need to leave right now". Now, the guy from earlier is peering around the corner to see what we are doing. I don't like this. What does he want? The parking lot is dim and empty and this doesn't seem like a place where strangers would rush to help. I tell the boys to get their stuff and get in the car. Lots of lessons learned, luckily none at knifepoint. ||||The Wesley Inn should be avoided. Addicts in the parking lot. Who knows what is happening in the rooms, but they haven't seen maid service in weeks.
