Very cozy and clean. We had a delicious, beautiful breakfast...french toast with fruit and coffee. We were the only couple there, so she asked what we'd like for breakfast, but i told her we'd be happy with whatever she chose to make. Very friendly people. We took a tv and DVD player since there is not one in the room, and relaxed in bed together all night and slept in late. Happy to have them not far from home ❤️ for our occasional getaway from the children nights 😆

I was in Wellington for a graduation party and so the location was perfect. Breakfast was basic but Evelyn was very accommodating towards my gluten free diet. She and her husband were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom updated and clean. However, the carpet in the Lincoln room was so stained and spotted that it was disgusting. I am not sure what the carpet in the other rooms was like, but this definitely needs to be replaced. I would consider staying here again but definitely not in this room.

We were the only guests the night we stayed here. It was very quiet and comfortable.
Gene and Evelyn kindly allowed us to park our motorcycles in their garage. It was very much appreciated, though, I am certain that there was no danger leaving them parked outside.
Evelyn gave us some suggestions for dinner a short walk away.
Breakfast in the morning was perfect. There was lots of fruit (always welcome when we are riding) and some yogurt and baked goods. They sat and had breakfast with us and that allowed us to easily chat and get to know one another.

This was my second time staying here in 3 yrs. Has a great home feeling. A timeless piece of history that you will thoroughly enjoy. They accept cash and card. Served fresh fruit, eggs with mushrooms in them and the coffee was really good. Great place to stay.

We had a very comfortable stay while visiting Oberlin College. The Inn is a historic house that has only been an inn since 2010. The woman who runs it with her husband is very friendly and very helpful and accommodating. This is not a fancy bed and breakfast furnished with antiques but it has what we needed including fresh fruit in the morning. The wifi was mediocre.

This inn is adorable. I got snowbound here, so I spent a few days, and the owners were so sweet. I felt like I was staying a few nights at my long-lost relative's house-- it's much more homey than a hotel.

Breakfast was delicious and they were awesome about my dietary restrictions.

Accommodations in Oberlin can be tight - especially now that the dreadful Oberlin Inn is being replaced -- but the Wellington Country Inn is a convenient and comfortable (and nearby) option. There is a large suite which is useful when visiting with children, as well as smaller rooms, and a continental breakfast is included. The Inn is clean, comfortable and very nicely maintained; and it will only take you a few minutes for the short drive to Oberlin. As any Oberlin student knows, Wellington was the site of the famous 1858 rescue of a fugitive slave by College professors and students who spirited the man along the Underground Railway to freedom. Impressive stone buildings and homes still exist in this historic railroad town, although the dining options are limited.

Mexican restaurant a block away. Two blocks away are Wellington Square. A neat coffee shop called Bread N Brew is right on the square. Grocery store across the street. A family restaurant across from Bread N Brew. Residential area behind for walks. If you are there long enough, ask for the baked French Toast for breakfast. The scent of it cooking will wake you up.
