The environment in here is wonderful, it’s the perfect place to have coffee with a friend, read or study. The owners are extremely personable and always provide a welcoming smile and are willing to chat if you want! I order the same thing every time I come here and it always tastes the same, not many places can do that nowadays. Their baked goods are excellent, everything I’ve tried has been amazing. I frequent here probably 4-5 times a week and couldn’t rave about it more.

Delicious coffee/ espresso drinks, and a great book selection.
My wife loves the original Well Read location, and this additional location looks great! It is very open, and has plenty of seating with both indoor and outdoor patio areas. Check this place out if you ever get the chance!

Knowing how cozy, welcoming, & delicious the original Auburn Well Red is, I was eager for WR Second Story to open. It's close enough for me to walk to, & it has not disappointed. I will caution any Northerners here that the inside temperature is kept chillier the hotter it is outside - which can be uncomfortable unless you bring layers. (That's also true for many other public inside spaces in the Deep South. )

Such a fun location! We recently booked the back patio for a work event and had breakfast catered and the food and drinks were amazing! So thankful to have a place like this near my home! The service is always wonderful and the cinnamon rolls and the bacon cheddar biscuit is the way to go!

More about the food, drink and gathering spaces than the books. It's a nice collection but if you go for a specific title and it's not a brand-new release, it is hit or miss. I'm not a coffee drinker but the teas and treats are very nice.

HANDS DOWN BEST COFFEE SHOPS IN AUBURN. For a small chain of local coffee shops, they’re so consistent in every aspect, at every location. 10/5 stars in every single one of those aspects as well. Customer service, quality, quantity, price, atmosphere… anything else I forgot to mention, is all above and beyond. All incredible, such a wonderful place to go, no matter what location.
