We cannot recommend Gold Canyon Golf Resort highly enough to anyone planning their wedding! Our special day was absolutely perfect, thanks in no small part to the beautiful venue and the exceptional efforts of our wedding coordinator, Charlene.

From the moment we saw Gold Canyon, we knew it was the place for our wedding. We were blown away by the breathtaking scenery of the Superstition Mountains, and the desert vibes were exactly what we were looking for. The lush grounds and picturesque views provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. Our photos and videos turned out beautifully, capturing the essence of our magical day against the stunning natural landscape. In addition, the brand new reception hall was an incredible space to host our guests and dance the night away!

An underrated aspect of our wedding weekend at Gold Canyon was that a majority of our guests stayed at the resort. This made for an exciting atmosphere and gave us more opportunities to spend quality time with our family and friends, whether we were at the pool, on the golf course, at the spa, or at the bar! Our guests were very pleased with their stays, and definitely considered the weekend a vacation.

The true reason for the success of our wedding and the weekend itself was thanks to our wedding coordinator, Charlene. She was an absolute gem, and went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly. When we first met her for our tour of the venue, we could tell we would be in good hands. Also, unlike most of the venues we toured, Charlene was with us from day one, all the way until we were wed. It was comforting to know that the person we were working with throughout the planning process would be there the day of as well. Her expertise and personable approach made the planning process enjoyable and stress-free.

On the day of the wedding, Charlene’s attention to detail and dedication meant that we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. She handled all the logistics seamlessly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the day. We also can not thank her exceptional team enough for all they did to make the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and wedding day as amazing as it was.

If you're looking for a venue with incredible scenery and a coordinator who will take care of your special day, look no further. Our experience was truly perfect, and we owe so much of that to Charlene and the wonderful team at Gold Canyon.

GCR is by far the BEST place to book your wedding!! I worked with Charlene on my wedding for about 1.5 years and all my interactions were outstanding! Nicole handed my room block and was very patient and kind will almy many requests! My wedding at GCR has been the talk of the town and everyone LOVED the resort!!! The rooms were beyond beautiful and although some guests faced challenges (AC mostly), the front office team was quick to find a solution. Housekeeping ladies were so nice and kept everything tidy! Golf cart service was amazing and fast! Our family couldn’t stop grabbing food in the mornings and lunches because we loved the restaurant food, views and most importantly the staff!

I am SO impressed and loved every minute of hosting my wedding weekend here!! The food and banquet service were beyond phenomenal!!! I wish I could do it all over again, my wedding day was PERFECT!! My husband and I got married here in September of 2024 and had the best experience from getting a quote until we checked out the morning after our wedding. Charlene was such a blessing, and was so excited about helping, any questions related to the wedding or venue she can help you. We also had her for our day of coordinator and it alleviated all of the stress that I had. The venue is absolutely stunning there is no need to stress over any of the details because this venue and Charlene have thought of everything (yes even the perfect sunset photo spots).

Because of Robert Manger, and the whole crew at Gold Canyon Golf Resort, we were able to have the wedding of our dreams!
I had toured several other venues and was met with nothing but roadblocks prior to attending an open house at Gold Canyon, but meeting with Robert was like a weight lifted off my shoulders, and everything that all the other venues said was impossible suddenly became possible again!
From our initial meeting, all the way up until I walked down the aisle, it was evident that Robert truly cared about us and our big day. He consistently worked to make sure everything went smoothly for us and over the months that we worked on planning together, I grew an immense trust in him.
Our ceremony was beautiful, the food was delicious (it has been one year, and people still comment on the food weekly), the staff was friendly and efficient, and looking back, we have nothing but amazing memories.
If I ever have anything to do with the planning of a wedding again, I would 100% recommend Robert and his team. Thank you for all you have done for us!

Amazing views, awesome venue, and great team!

We hosted our wedding at Gold Canyon Resort and had the best possible experience! We chose GCGR because of the incredible location and views, and because they were also dog friendly! Charlene, our wedding coordinator, did an amazing job helping us throughout the entire planning process and took great care of us on our big day. Nicole did a fabulous job coordinating reservations for all of our out-of-town wedding guests (30+ rooms). Mike in the golf pro shop was awesome, helping us to plan an amazing golf experience at Dinosaur Mountain for the groom and his groomsmen. And the entire GCGR staff was so kind and accommodating to everyone who came for our wedding, we only heard rave reviews about their experiences. If you’re thinking of planning a wedding, or visiting GCGR for a night or two, or just having dinner, we cannot recommend them enough!

Our daughters wedding at Gold Canyon Golf Resort 2.29.20 was in one word “Spectacular.” We met Charlene one year ago and fell in love with the venue and Charlene. We booked it and began the planning. Charlene not only made the entire wedding experience stress free but she also made it fun. We chose to use the preferred vendors that was provided in all inclusive wedding package (except the photographer, we had our own, Sadie Such) and we were not disappointed in a single one. Piece of Cake Gilbert provided the cake and it was beautiful and delicious. The DJ, Ryan at All Pro DJ’s was the best, and Wild Iris Flowers was the best of the best!! Marni and her staff created the most gorgeous floral arrangements I have ever seen. My guests described the reception hall as breathtaking and it truly was. The entire staff at Gold Canyon Resort were kind and professional and fun. Nicole was so helpful in dealing with all our guests staying at the hotel. She was organized and kept me in the loop updating me as needed on how many rooms we had booked etc. I did not receive one negative comment from any of our guests. I could go on and on about the delicious food as well. We wanted to give our daughter a beautiful wedding day and a memory to last a lifetime and this was all accomplished at Gold Canyon Golf Resort.
