Beautiful, quiet, secluded bed & breakfast. The owner was as sweet as she can be & so helpful! Breakfast was delicious & hot. Coffee was awesome. Pool was fabulous. I got married on their gazebo & they were absolutely amazing & accommodating! They welcomed every happy moment for my special day!! They had a heater to keep it cozy for our friends & family. She Decorated my room so beautifully. And this was all on Thanksgiving! They provided wonderful limo service to dinner & picked us up. Very at home feel & cozy ambience. It was so peaceful & amazing. Best day & stay ever.

Owner is rude & disrespectful & there is something really weird about this place. I booked this room as a combination Anniversary/business trip. I had a 3 hour meeting at the college on Saturday, so I booked Friday & Saturday night here to celebrate our anniversary. I booked a room with a fireplace & a jacuzzi tub & was super excited to get away no kids. When we arrived they put us in a regular hotel room. OK, they made a mistake no big deal, I went back to the desk where the very kind lady working said I had booked a plain room. I told her absolutely not. She called the owner & the owner came in and informed us we only booked a plain room even after I showed her my reservation email. She got smart & said well i have one but it costs more. I said no ma’am, I’ve paid for a room with fireplace & jacuzzi already. She was obviously sick with the flu or something & she was arguing & coughing & this went on for 10-15 minutes & I was starting to lose my cool, so I said ok what can you do & she very rudely said nothing. Do you want to go somewhere else?! i finally said ok I am going to bed. We can figure this out in the morning. Slept terribly the mattress was cheap & springy & I felt bad for letting my husband down since he wanted a nice room for our anniversary.
We had a nice breakfast there the next morning . (this is the one thing that was as described) and then went back to talk to owner at the counter. She said she had no rooms like I booked available & the closest thing was a double bed “but it costs more” I very nicely said No thank you, we will check out. She then yelled at me, I DIDN’T SAY IT COSTS YOU MORE, IT COSTS MORE! YOU DIDNT LET ME FINISHED! I looked at my husband who was like WOA. I said yes ma’am very kindly let’s look at it. She then led us to the back of the resort through some hallways & unlocked a door. Upon entering it I saw the door to the outside (floor level) was standing wide open, there was no heat in the room & it was at least 30° in this room. She said go look in the bathroom there’s a jacuzzi. I was already very uneasy about this & walked in and turned the light on, the tub had several 2-3 inch icicles hanging out of it. I called her in there & said ma’am your water is froze up. She started arguing with me & said no it’s not. She broke icicles off & attempting to turn both the cold & hot waters on saw nothing coming out & said, it’s frozen. I said thank you we are checking out this morning. I went down the street & booked a hotel with a nicer room for more than 1/2 the price & had a very enjoyable time. The owner never ONCE apologized for any of it. I told her it was an anniversary trip & we were looking forward to relaxing in a room with a jacuzzi & how important this trip was & she never once offered any remorse. My husband & I both teach HS & honestly our students are more respectful than this adult woman. I wish I had read more reviews before booking this place & ruining our time together for that first night. My time is valuable & especially when I get alone time with my husband. We only get to get away a time or two a year. I will not ever return here, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

Beautiful restful hideaway! Let me preface this by saying if you are looking for a flawless, cookie-cutter perfectly cold and impersonal hotel stay, please keep looking. This gem is a beautiful place tucked away in the woods and the owners are the architect and his wife. The architect is in his 90’s (but you’d never guess it!!) We came upon him sitting outside enjoying a snack and started visiting as if he was another guest. He’s the kind of man with stories about yesteryear that I could have listened to all day!! His wife poured us a glass of champagne when we checked in and had a delicious breakfast ready in the morning. We sat outside with the two of them eating and enjoying the good company. Meeting them truly made our visit special. The rooms are unique and beautiful, the pool feels like an ocean vessel and is open in the center of the building. Hot tub was nice. We will be back!

Highly recommended. We had a amazing experience. We booked for our 17th wedding anniversary. I think it is quiant and the owner got know us. Had a home cooked breakfast which was eggs, hashbrowns, waffles, bacon, sausage, coffee etc. Pool and hot tub was inside and great temperature. Rooms were excellent. We will definitely stay again. A hidden gem and great location.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! Victoria was so hospitable and helped my husband with planning an amazing evening , the goals they have for there palace is amazing and I cannot wait to see how far they grow! This is well worth it, I don’t know why anyone could write a bad review. The scenery is beautiful the breakfast was home cooked and the rooms well very well accommodating. I felt like a queen and left ready for my next return!

We had a lot of fun here. The whole place was very beautiful and luxurious. Our room had a large jet tub & a private exterior door to the yard. The pool was very unique, clean and fun to swim in. It would be a great place for a wedding or multi family stay.
All of the accommodations you expect from a hotel are here. Keep in mind that you are staying in their home - be respectful as they clearly have put a lot of love and effort into it.

I wanted to say how impressed we were we had never stayed at a BB before and this was our 19th Anniversary my husband and I enjoyed the back porch over looking the grounds very peaceful. The room were decorated beautifully best sleep very well. The indoor pool spa was great and the owner was very inviting.. you must stay!! They also have limousine services on sight just need to book in advance..
