Needed a new big TV on short notice,. the Claypool/Miami, AZ superstore we met a very lady in electronics (~50-60, lean, thoughtfully wearing a mask since she had a cold/cough, but still working hard on a Sunday morning - outstanding!) who got us exactly what we needed with skill and smarts, explained everything easily and well, packaged and transported a big, heavy item like a pro and then handed us off to an older man (“Curtis”) who was tending carts but immediately stepped in to get this giant pig of a TV safely and efficiently in to my car - tight fit, but he was very good at the job.

An outstanding customer experience, like the opposite of a used-car sales trap or dreary retail store manned by bored 20-somethings who don’t wanna be there. I wish I could have given these two a big tip but they said a little love on a review was all they desired - so here it is!

Needed help with flashlights. So I asked on assistance and Brandy an employee listened to me and walked me even to the areas and wow! She helped Thank you and because of Brandy I will be coming back. Brandy keep it up!

For a little store, it has just about everything. The people are friendly. Not like other Walmarts. I'm really happy with the store.

The Claypool AZ employees and managers are uneducated. Was harassed for attempting to purchase 5x10$ little Cesar’s gift cards and was treated like dirt. The self checkout employee took my gift cards and brought a manager back to inform me I cannot purchase more than 2 gift cards. Then when I asked why they could not tell me so I asked to speak to another manager who also had no idea why just that there’s a limit per transaction but they wouldn’t let me make multiple transactions. If this were a fraud situation or something maybe I could understand but I paid for the gift cards so being treated like a criminal was uncalled for. P.S. I had no problem purchasing 5 gift cards in one transaction at Frys!

This Walmart is mis managed throughout the store. Today no meat available at 3pm. Instead of cleaning and reorganizing when the store is closed, they decide to do it during the day, ensuring customer have to go to Fry's for their complete shopping. Need to replace the so called management team ASAP

Same place in a good shopping center right down the road from the beverage house because you can't get most of your adult-sized drinks or any kind of alcoholic beverages too close to the school the literal Miami Vandal school's been a big part of the community for a long time

5 stars doesn’t do this person justice & why want to shine the spotlight on Keith. He was managing the main (8) self check registers tonight when I went in. All of the self check outs were taken and there was a line. I had to handle a work issue that unfortunately 100% needed my attention at that moment while self-checking out & then had to transfer money because Wal-Mart doesn’t take Apple Pay (the only complaint I have with Wal-Mart in regard to payment methods even though half the registers usually go down most of the time & only take card) He did not just stand there waiting for me to ask if I needed help or rush me despite me holding up the line a few minutes. He went above & beyond to ask if I needed it despite the large line & other customers needing his attention. He also did this with everyone else promptly. I train people in Customer Service to do what he just naturally did out of my employees. This is the first time someone went above and beyond the “CSR” request initiated by the customer or had to ask for help because they didn’t see the light to alert them to a forced interaction. Something I still usually have to ask for at this location or any location since the customers were obligated to be their own cashiers. He paid attention to detail, was friendly and proved what an asset he is in the 10 minute interaction I had with him over the compared 3 -4 years I have been a customer at this store or any store with self checkout & real people have been almost eliminated He paid attention to detail, went above and beyond, was super friendly and showed what real customer service can be despite the limitations forced on them by a policy that should of ended when COVID restrictions were lifted.

You would think that people who work with the general public would have better attitudes and be more willing to help others. Not this store, very rude employees and unwillingness to help those who are in need of help.
