I am absolutely amazed at the things I was able to order at the Waffle Shoppe!

Being a vegan, I'm always asking the cooks is there this in there is there that in there, with IHOP and Denny's and Waffle House I always have to worry about egg and dairy being in all the mix for everything

Not here

I caught the place opening at 6:00 a.m., had a double biscuits and gravy, pancake, grits, and hash browns seeing that we were the first one through the door I didn't have to worry about there being any egg or meet residues on the flat top, and wow their food was awesome!

It was overall the greatest breakfast I've had in Forever

Not very often a vegan can be out on the road traveling for work, go to a place to eat a breakfast and order more than one menu item.
Not this place, just look at my breakfast!

Ate breakfast here 2 days in a row, tried a couple other breakfast places in town and I liked this better than the others. The food was cooked perfectly, not overcooked or under seasoned. Tastes like your mom is in the back cooking with love. The hot steak sandwich was delicious, white gravy had good flavor unlike other places with bland white gravy. Loved the rolled egg omelettes, perfect textures. My brain wasn't computing overall 4 star reviews here, while other places were hitting 4.7 ish, don't sleep on this place. It's definitely punching above it's overall score.

It's a cute little place, unexpectedly adorable. The food was absolutely amazing. I think legitimately the best food I've had in Durant since I moved here a few years ago. I'm definitely going to have to come here more often. The service was great as well. She came and checked on us frequently so we never had empty drinks. Delicious!

I had breakfast here this morning, and I was greeted with a smile & friendly service from the second that I walked in the door. My food was done pretty quickly & it was absolutely amazing!! If you are ever having a breakfast craving, I highly recommend this place. Charlotte, my waitress, was so attentive to my needs that I believe she deserves to be recognized for it. Thank you so much!! 💖

Good food good prices. We haven't eaten here in a long time. Thought we would pop in, and it was great. Not a big fan of the paper straws. If you don't like those straws McDonald's is close by, stop in there and grab a few straws before you go in 😉

First timer here. I built my own breakfast plate, just a simple 2 scrambled egg, hashbrown, bacon, and blueberry waffle with some wheat toast. Everything was good, the food, the service. Very friendly and attentive waitress. We will definitely be back when we are in town for the casino.

A little roadside diner. Doesn't look like much. Very limited seating very friendly staff. Food was good.

Be careful when adding jalapenos they are HOT.

Definitely worth a stop pricing was good.
