Awesome hotel. I have stayed here several times and I always have a great experience. If you can, get one of the suites with a balcony. The views are amazing, and a great place to enjoy breakfast and a coffee in the morning. The two bars are awesome, and the vibe on the weekends is awesome. Very sexy. The staff here is amazing.

absolutely loved this hotel! Everything was perfect—the location is fantastic, the decor is stunning, and the staff is both helpful and friendly. My room had a gorgeous view, and the space itself was beautiful. I truly enjoyed my stay. The hotel has two restaurants, and I tried both; the food was delicious. If I ever return to Scottsdale, Arizona, I’ll definitely be staying here again!

Rooms are not practical for longer stays, and drawer storage is terrible. You would think with a higher priced hotel, housekeeping would be better. There was a recent stain on my floor. I took a wash rag and cleaned myself as I did not want to walk on it... also, housekeeping slams the doors all day during cleaning by opening the latch and letting the door slam against the latch that shakes the walls and generates a loud bang. This should be addressed by the management if they want repeat business. Parking attendees are very responsive, and they provided excellent service for the $50 valet.

The young inexperienced bouncer was rude and wouldn't allow our party to enter the rooftop bar. So disappointing on our weekend away to enjoy ourselves. We were a mature group who only wanted to have a good time and this youngster spoiled our experience. Totally unacceptable behavior!

I did book a two bedroom during my birthday and we had one of the best experiences ever. The room was fully equipped with a double door refrigerator fully stocked, a huge boom box or stereo if you like playing music. A dining area for 6..master bedroom with a walk in closet the entire apartment was quite spacious with a balcony facing the pool. Staff were the best ever, we even got a complimentary check out time for 2pm. The pool area was equipped with a DJ! We had lots of fun. The hotel is right next to old town Scottsdale where the nightclubs are if you like nightlife. Just a wonderful hotel, great ambience and best staff members!

I recently stayed at the W in Scottsdale, and it was, unfortunately, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I have never left anything below a four star review for a hotel before.

First, the noise from the nightclub was unbearable. The loud music thumped well into the night, making sleep absolutely impossible. It’s shocking that a hotel prioritizes its nightclub over the comfort of its guests. If we had known that it was going to be crazy loud we would have stayed elsewhere. This is an easy fix - warn guests when they book that its crazy loud on Friday and Saturday nights.

The room itself was equally disappointing. It was incredibly small, with a poorly thought-out layout that made it almost impossible to organize or store our belongings. To make matters worse, the room was dirty upon arrival. The carpet was visibly worn out, with loose areas that not only looked terrible but were also a tripping hazard. There was some disgusting hair ball type of thing on the sink, it was gross to say the least.

On top of that, the security at the hotel treated us like unruly teenagers attempting to sneak in. We had to show our room key, driver’s license, and room number, only for them to look us up on a list before allowing us to enter the hotel. I’ve never encountered such an unwelcoming or excessive process at any hotel like this. It felt like the security guard at the door was going to start a fight or something.

As a Bonvoy Premier member, I expect a certain standard of service and hospitality, but this experience was an absolute failure. I will never stay at this property again and caution others against doing so unless drastic improvements are made.
