The room was decent—not bad at all. It had a good workspace and plenty of space to place belongings. The bed was amazing—firm but incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave! The reception staff and bar employees were friendly and provided great service. The location is also convenient, close to Ponce City Market. Plus, the room was clean with no musty carpet smell.

However, there were a few drawbacks. The food menu was quite limited. Housekeeping wasn’t done daily, and there was no door hanger to request cleaning (though you can ask the staff for free). Sometimes, they cleaned the room but didn’t change the bedding. The hotel is a bit far from food spots, and the walls were quite thin—you could hear doors opening and closing from the opposite room, which was startling. Occasionally, the room shook violently, possibly from the air conditioning compressor, which was quite intense.

Overall, despite some flaws, it was still a good stay!

I stayed in The Darwin while checking out Atlanta neighborhoods to plan for relocation. Mike checked me in and was so generous with information about the area. He let us know where there were good school districts and about the safety of local areas. He was also so kind to help us with parking on the property.

The hotel is beautifully designed and I loved working in the courtyard. The rooms are small but thoughtfully designed and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay at The Darwin next time I'm in town!

Our recent stay at the Darwin Hotel in Atlanta exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn't just another hotel experience.

The property's cleanliness was immediately noticeable—every area from the lobby to our room was impeccably maintained and had a wonderfully fresh atmosphere throughout. The attention to detail in the upkeep of the facilities demonstrated the hotel's commitment to providing a pristine environment for guests.

What truly set this experience apart, however, was the staff. Each team member we encountered went above and beyond their duties to ensure our stay was memorable. They weren't just helpful; they were genuinely invested in making our time at the Darwin Hotel special. Whether it was providing local recommendations, addressing requests promptly, or simply offering a warm greeting, their service was consistently exceptional.

The extra efforts made by the staff transformed what would have been a good stay into a great one. Their attentiveness and willingness to accommodate our needs reflected a culture of hospitality that seems increasingly rare.

I would highly recommend the Darwin Hotel to anyone visiting Atlanta who values cleanliness and outstanding service. This property has certainly earned our loyalty for future visits to the area.

This is a great addition to IHG hotels! The hotel was super cozy and made for a great night! The "cozy" rooms are exactly that - cozy! They have huge mirrors and phone-to-screen tvs which are great for watching whatever we want. The staff was very friendly and they gave out complimentary champagne. Overall, this is a great hotel.

We came here to go the aquarium, which required us to spend over 8 hours driving. So needless to say we were exhausted when we got here.
The check in process was simple. The staff was cordial and efficient (special shout out to Courtney, for being extra helpful).
The ambience of the place is incredible. The painting of John Lewis and the photos of him and historic photos give the place gravitas. The room is beautiful. The bed is comfy.
This will be my permanent go to spot anytime I come to Atlanta

Great Stay! And the staff were super nice and accommodating! The bartender, Geeta, was super sweet and gave us some recommendations on where to have a fun night out. Dante checked us in and he was amazing! And the inside of the Hotel is phenomenal!

First - all the employees were wonderful - friendly and helpful.

Second - the lobby and bar is a great gathering place to relax and meet other guests and staff. This was particularly important as we were snowed in for a day at the hotel. We had a great time.

Third - they have a limited menu at the bar that changes based on which outside local chef is cooking that day. The food we had was excellent.

Fourth - the hotel room was very nice. Really appreciate the ability to stream from our own account on the TV. No hook-ups or Roku needed. Enjoyed the shampoo and lotion products.

They have 2 e bikes for use. My husband used on one day to get some groceries. I imagine that get used pretty quickly in the summer.

Need a car for this location as public transportation is not great. We walked a mile to breakfast. There are fast food restaurants closer but not of interest to us.

We stayed for one night and absolutely loved it! The hotel is stunning, with a beautifully decorated outdoor area featuring lights and plenty of seating for relaxing or socializing. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. The location was excellent, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Ponce City Market is just two traffic lights away, offering plenty of activities and attractions!

The computers were briefly down before check-in, but the staff kindly offered us drinks while we waited, and the issue was resolved quickly.

Our only complaint is that the soundproofing could be better—you can hear everything. From 5 AM to about 8 AM, it sounded like someone was walking around in heels above us, which kept us awake and was quite frustrating. If you plan to stay here, I recommend requesting a room on the top floor to avoid this issue.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience with excellent service and incredibly comfortable beds!
