I've only been here twice, and both times were memorable. Bartender even remembered me haha. I strongly recommend the prime rib on Thursdays! I dod not take a picture of it, sadly. But the burger and wings were also amazing!

Violi's in Meriden, CT, is undoubtedly the most picturesque restaurant in town, offering the best views and an unforgettable dining experience. This special spot holds a dear place in my heart, as it's where my husband TJ and I were married in 2007. Ever since, Violi's has been our go-to for special occasions, especially our anniversary.

The fettuccine carbonara at Violi's is my absolute favorite—nothing else compares. The rich, creamy sauce and perfectly cooked pasta are simply divine. And let's not forget the garlic knots, which are out of this world!

With its charming ambiance and impeccable service, Violi's is the perfect setting for any celebration or romantic evening. If you're looking for a place to make lasting memories, Violi's is the place to be.

We had a funeral lunch for my aunt there for 28-30 people for lunch We ordered off of a selected dinner menu. Each meal was delivered hot and cooked to perfection!! Everyone raved about the quality and taste of the food. Most of us had leftovers. The service was absolutely excellent. Benny checked in frequently throughout the lunch to make sure all was good.
I would highly recommend this restaurant. I can’t wait to go back to try one of the other meals.

Mediocre food quantity at best. My steak, was ordered medium rare and was served as a cool medium rare, so I can’t complain too much there, other than I was a very fatty cut. (It is what it is). Because of the almost properly cooked stew, they’ve earned their 2 stars from me. Violi’s does not earn any other because of the leather tough veal piccata, the BOILED chicken Marsala, and because of my empty iced tea. You can’t tell me it wasn’t boiled…unless it was microwaved fully. My tea was empty for about 15/20 minutes, then when the waiter came by filling waters, the pointed and requested a refill. He said he couldn’t hear me because it was too loud, which I’ll agree with, but contextual hints of the environment and each of our respective roles would lead the reasonable person to think I wanted more tea. Give me a break, it wasn’t too loud for him to see me pointing towards my empty iced tea.

After walking around the table I re-stated I would like some more tea upon his earliest convenience, which he then proceeded to take my glass to actually refill it somewhere else.

Extremely poor waitstaff table side manner.

Located at the Hunter golf course lovely place. Only been here for events after services at our church but there is a huge room facing the course where folks go after golf. Nice looking place huge bar area. Plenty of oarking and a nice menu with the usual items on it

Today I attended a luncheon at Violi's after a wake & funeral for a life that was tragically cut short. The banquet food was excellent & the staff were so respectful & attentive. The restaurant ambiance was classy, but not stuffy. The view of the golf course is very picturesque. I don't live very close so I'm not sure if/when I'll be back but I'm sure I'll have another great experience if I do. I'd like to thank the staff of Violi's for a job well done when it REALLY counted

We had my husband's 90th birthday party on September 14th with 21 people in attendance. The food was great and as usual up to par, service was great and the day was beautiful. We got to see the shotgun tournament that began at 1:00 where all the carts went out to their respective holes. Impressive sight. My only only complaint was we were told another event for 40 people was to begin at 1:00 pm and we could not have the space used for that number of people. On the day of my event, there was no other party and we were not offered the space. Therefore, my family was spaced out and not able to socialize with one another. Small complaint I know but it did make a big difference.
