The Villa Inn provides excellent value in an otherwise high-priced location. The queen-size room I stayed in was comfortable, with a small table and two chairs; a desk and third chair; a dresser; a microwave and fridge; a separate vanity area with mirror; and a small but serviceable bathroom with a compact shower (no tub). It was clean, and housekeeping provided fresh towels without being asked. Just a 15-minute walk to town, with lots of restaurant and shopping options, makes the Villa Inn very convenient. I overlooked the dated exterior and appreciated a small but comfortable room at a very good price. If you're looking for luxury, look elsewhere; but for budget-minded travelers, this is a very good choice.

Horrible condition of WiFi, you wouldn't be able to browse anything. Phone network is also weak for some carriers. The room was decent.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa inn. The staff was so incredibly friendly and warm, I’d stay here again just for them! Our room was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable night. The property is located in a quiet area and the owners have cultivated lovely plants throughout. The $118 we paid was by far the cheapest in the area and we were surprised to learn that it came with a modest but sufficient continental breakfast as well. It was pet friendly and we would certainly stay here again if we’re ever back in the area.

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Villa Inn. We had a great experience and would definitely go back. We felt safe in the area. The Inn was a short drive to San Francisco and lots of beautiful natural areas for hiking and exploration. Plenty of delicious restaurants nearby and Whole Foods/ Trader Joe's. Our room was extremely clean and smelled fresh. The beds were comfortable. It was quiet and we slept great. Our room was very spacious. We stayed in room 71. Breakfast was waffles, cereal, bananas and bagels and cream cheese and muffins which was perfect for us. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return and recommend to others.
