Nice park. Decent shade, benches for parents, canvas shade over the play area. Nice grassy area, fountains, bathrooms. I didn’t check the bathrooms so I can’t say what they are like. The picnic cabana could use some serious maintenance. Not appealing at all. In general it’s nice, though, and the kids liked it.

Veterans Park is a great place for both young & young at heart! With shaded picnic tables, B-B-Q's, beautiful established trees, grass & a play yard with the most awesome swings! It's a fun place to meet new friends and truly is a nice place to sit and relax!

A whole lot of dirt very little bit of grass. Dog poop everywhere and no poop bags in the poop bag holder. Showed up and this guy had dog's there not one was on a leash my dog is always on her leash even where we are staying at.

I was surprised when I pulled in and seen they redone it! It was my least favorite park to take my daughter but now we couldn't be happier to go!

Nice playground for kids around this area, lots of amenities like small grills, gazebos, plenty of benches and even a water fountain. Have come here with my daughter a few times and she really likes it; but it's a royal pain that there is no bathroom available, because they are locked most of the time. I can only assume that they unlock them when there are baseball games or something like that but for kids visiting the playground they just have to find someplace with with a public bathroom.. which for some parents might be a deal-breaker and end the play day.

We went for the dog park area. Fencing could use a bit of maintenance in the back corners. There was a bowl attached to a pole you could use to give your pup water but you had to provide it. Could use a bit of shade and some more obstacles to play on.

The kids play area and basketball courts seemed nice. Grassy area is also a nice touch and adds a bit of color to the desertscape.

Either way, my boy had fun sniffing everything and chasing his ball until the sun went down.
