Toilet messed up shower messed up room stank had to burn a candle. Non smoking room had cig burns in comforter as well as pillow case. No cleaning service. But the bed was comfy

By far one of the worse Motels we have ever visited. We showed up and got our room, staff was friendly. Room was very dirty and sheets on the bed were dirty, (staff did get clean sheets and place on the bed) floor was gritty and dirty. TV had no remote, advised to install an app on phone for the remote. Did the install still did not work correctly. Did stay the one night as we were tired travelers and sheets were clean now. Went to store and picked up cleaning supplies for floor and furniture. The window did not have curtains just a paper blind and the outside porch light flashed all night long. We used expedia to book the room and notified them of early check out in the morning. Checked out in the morning to find another motel by check out time. Management at the Vernon Inn refused to refund unused nights. Absolutely Do Not advise using this motel. Again we must say staff was nice, but everything else was beyond poor. We do not normally write poor reviews, but feel we must warn others of our encounter.

Staff was friendly up until time to leave. Room was not very clean and there was bugs in our room. We stayed multiple nights and not a single time was our room cleaned or more towels brought to us. Very run downed and needs to be updated. We the staff they have I am more than certain they can do it. It is great for one night but if your going to stay more than one go somewhere else!

This motel is A DUMP! We heard it was recently renovated! How could you renovate a dump? First, half the rooms are inhabitable (won't offer them up due to horrible conditions), holes in the ceiling from roof leakage, dirty linens & towels, the floors are disgusting (black feet walking from bath to bed), ceiling fans encrusted with years of dust and to too it off no hot water in my unit! I left after 1 night. No customer service, and no refund. Don't believe the few good reviews, they're obviously fake. This place should be condemned.

This Motel was a lot nicer than I expected. It was very quiet. Very private. We stayed for 2 nights. There was some issues in the bathroom and.... I don't know if it was because we were on the end room, but the hot water tank was just.... there. There's not much to do in the area but the hotel owners were very helpful in finding some local cuisine. I'll defiantly be back. Was a great escape... on a budget.

If you are stuck, it works..

I checked out after spiling coffee on the sheets, ended up being back much later the same day, ended up in the same room, and sure enough, the same marks on the sheets, THEY DID NOT CHANGE THE SHEETS!!! I won't be back, god only knows how many people have slept on these sheets without being washed

It was sort of clean. No ice machine so my mom in the next room had the woman fill her ice bucket but when I asked she didn't give me any ice? No plugs except on lamp. Internet was nice but TV was fuzzy. Also the ac was not great. Needs some improvements but i guys no one is really coming too Vernon for vaca

I am really impressed with this motel. We travel alot due to my husbands work, and let me say, we've had our fair share of good and bad motels. We saw this motel. It didn't really have good curb appeal, but we checked anyway. We purchased a room and went to take a look. It was better than i imagined. The room is very inviting, clean, cozy, comforting, and stocked. The staff is really helpful and polite. I would recommend this motel to others. If we come to this area in future, we will most definately choose to stay here.
