If you are thinking of hosting an event at venue 67, think again. It came recommended and the reviews only painted a picture of a great venue with great service and food, yet we had an absolutely terrible experience. When we arrived to set up, the owners were still getting tables ready and setting up the space. This would not have been a huge deal, but it just goes to show the lack of preparedness on their part and set the stage for the nightmare of a day we had.

While I can say the food was decent, the service was terrible and we regretted using their “catering service” instead of bringing in an outside caterer.

Our event started at 11am and upon the start of the event the only communication we received in reference to our food being served was to instruct our guests to eat from the fruit platter as it would be a little while until our main was served. “A little while” turned into nearly 2 hours until we finally had our main food brought out. At no point during this 2 hour wait were the owners anywhere to be found or communicating as to why we still had no food.

After the food was finally brought out we had to find the owners for them to bring out additional food, plates, silverware, and bowls due to the lack of attentiveness. Once the bowls ran out for our soup, they brought tea cups out instead. It apparently is too much to assume they would have enough plates and bowls for the amount of guests we told them would attend.

Quite honestly this was embarrassing to host an event here. At no point were the owners communicating with us the day of and to have to seek out them to get service is unacceptable.

Absolutely rethink having your event at venue 67, save yourself the time and money.

Don't go there terrible way of dealing with people. You had to pay for everything the silverware the Napkins. Tablecloths not a good way to run a business. Their handicapped ramp is terrible

I booked Venue 67 sight-unseen, food untasted. Danna was expert in guiding me with suggestions for menu and was a one-stop-shop for everything we needed for our event, from linens to a projector and screen. When we finally met the evening of the event, she was just as lovely as she had been during our phone chats. The location was easily found with GPS, the building was clean and comfortable. She absolutely did NOT oversell how wonderful her herbed chicken is or how tasty the chocolate peanut butter cake would be (and I’m a tough sell on peanut butter baked goods). So grateful for her hard work and expertise in guiding me thru planning our event. Should we ever need to hold another event in Uniontown, Danna will be my first call. Thank you for everything!

The Venue was delightful. The food was excellent. Very well planned out. We played games and had crafts. Our hostess was the best. Will be back.
