My family and I have been traveling to South Florida for years and when we get to Miami we are always up in the air with where to stay. I came across Vacation Villages in the Orlando area and it’s always been a great experience. I have always heard about Weston but never realized it was so close to Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. This Christmas I was searching for accommodations before our cruise and saw this resort on Expedia. I was like wow okay let’s try it. I booked for 2 nights and I will say this is the best stay I’ve had in the South Florida ever. The property is super clean and the hospitality is amazing. We felt at home. I was able to cook, visit the vibrant yet relaxing pool area, and enjoy near by shopping at Sawgrass. This place is a blessing and it gives you that resort experience. Guest services is 10/10! They printed out my documents for our cruise and just overall so welcoming. Mrs Rezio is and everyone else up there is a blessing . Thank you all. We had a wonderful stay.

We stayed at the Weston resort for a couple of days during Christmas for a mini family vacation.
The good: The staff were friendly and willing to help, making you feel welcomed. The rooms were nice and spacious, especially if you rent the entire unit (both suite A and B).
The issues: 1) Arrival - our room was in the Osprey which is a 7-story building that has roughly 250 units in it. But there was not a single luggage cart available. We had to drag the luggage from the parking lot and then take the elevators (which were very slow, BTW) multiple times to get everything to our room. 2) Departure - Still couldn’t find a cart, and we had to do the luggage thing again. In the morning, multiple text messages and emails came in, reminding us to check out. This continued even after we had checked out. Somewhat annoying. While we were still in the unit before we checked out, a housekeeping maid entered our unit and started to strip the bed.

The Weston is divided into three different locations.All of them seem to be very nice. The room that we had was two bedroom and extremely spacious. The sreened-in porch is wonderful to sit on and drink my morning coffee while watching the geese wander by. The laundry attendants are extremely helpful and friendly. Today we went to the main building and played Bingo. The attendant did a great job. The gift shop is packed full of nice items to purchase.

Reservation process was Inefficient. Fire we were given two rooms at different resorts because they were sold out. We We’re notified that theire was another opening at the Westin resort. So we booked that. It was supposed to be one bedroom with a full kitchen and one bedroom with a partial kitchen. When we got there, they only had two one bedrooms both with partial kitchens. The furniture was dated, the beds were hard, the partial kitchen is very crowded to the point of nearly being unusable.
The pool Was very nice and heated
The hot tub was under repair the entire time.
The fitness facility is a joke.

Comfortable and clean rooms, easy access to pool area. Parking was easy at all times of the day. Hot tub was down during our stay but was offered access to a sister property. No real resturant on-site or bar, but lot of local options within 10 minute drive. Overall very happy with our stay.

A resort closed to Fox Observatory for star gazing. This place is nice for relaxing and vacationing. Unfortunately the place is getting old needing upgrades. Currently, the Spa is out of works.
The services are less then expected. The garbage disposal is not working. I called for help. Waited half an hour to get someone to answer my call. The service man only came after 10:00 PM and we were asleep. Even though we locked the door. They still used key and force to break in. There is no security at all. There is no means to prevent people breaking in at all.

I stayed here for 2 nights before a cruise. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The amenities are excellent; easy to use laundry, propane grills and fire pits, microwave/oven and full sized fridge, and much more. Also located near plenty of great restaurants. I would definitely stay again.

A vacation in Weston is not the typical timeshare resort--no beach for one thing. The amenities are few and are spread out over a large area of 3 properties with multiple locations or buildings for each property. All properties have at least one pool. Not all buildings have a jacuzzi. Only the main check-in center at Weston has a very small fitness center with inadequate equipment. But the main pool is quite nice, which was just renovated after being down a month. The large jacuzzi will be down for another month. Only the large pool has daily activities. Most pools put out coffee in the morning and lemonade in the afternoon, but it is removed at 4--too early. Cleanliness is usually adequate but not always. There also always seems to be at least one reason each visit to call front desk for maintenance or some issue or something missing from the kitchen. Response time can vary from 30 min. to 4 hours. Check in is at 4. But come by 2 and try to check in. Your room might be ready and you can avoid the mad check-in rush and waiting line. First timers, be sure to check in before it is dark. It is hard to drive the area at night until you know your way around.
