We made the hour trip to Ashland to meet up with some amazing friends, Uniontown Brewing came highly recommended, so that was our lunch spot!
Amazing location in the former Gilbert Furniture store, where they have captured the essence and beauty of an old downtown building.
It was only topped off by our amazing server Jade who took care of our every need, served us great beers and some wonderful food!
We will definitely return for many visits and you should as well! Primo!

During a summer staycation, we followed a friend's recommendation and stopped at Uniontown Brewing for lunch. Walking in, we saw a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere and staff. It was nice so we sat outside on their cute patio.

The menu is full of great options that made our selection difficult. We had the Meatball and Chicken Sliders, and the Jupiter Burger. Both meals were good, but my burger was a little overcooked and I wish the porchetta was a little crispy. Neither changed the taste and there was no need to say anything.

I also had the Old Man Gilbert vanilla porter which was amazing.

They are a little out there but they are well worth the drive.

UPDATED: They have come a long way since we first tried this place. They are now our favorite place to go to for hamburgers in town. They also have some of the best prices for a family to dine in town. It's great that they have stepped up their game and also have great service!

Original review:We have heard mixed reviews about this place and finally decided to try it out ourselves. It was good, the waitress was friendly. The kitchen does seem to run slower than one would like especially during a lunch break. We didn't have a chance to try the beer this time. Sandwiches were fine. I would prefer an old fashioned hamburger with a better prepared and cooked patty vs. a dressed up hamburger with kale on it with a thin overcooked patty. The fresh cut fries were very well cooked. It is a nice atmosphere. I would have to agree that more thought is put into the beer than the food. I think that if you go in with the expectation that this is a bar and will serve you bar food, you will be satisfied. But currently there are better and faster places to go for a sandwich. I do want to point out that they also have a small kids menu which is nice. We will definitely try it again as it gets more established and then update our review. I think that all of us local people are rooting for them and want them to get better and succeed!

Update: We went back. My husband this time tried out the beer. Which liked. He will have to review that part. We had the two hamburgers on the menu. The UBC came without the bacon and the egg was pretty overcooked. Fries were still very good. The pork slider looked great. I would say that this place is not quite ready to be called a restaurant. It's a bar, with bar food. I would totally come here for a flight and a plate of fries. But that is it for now.

Not sure if it’s staffing or what issue, but you can’t order their Lenten specials Togo. I have been having some health issues and can’t leave the house, I had looked earlier which places in town were having something and was excited to try theirs for dinner. My boyfriend called and was denied that option, just think it would be nice if people like me were considered, or maybe no carryout listed on the ad. Luckily my other choice lynway was quick and was able to do carry out on their specials.

1st time here and was well taken care of. Everyone from the wait staff to the kitchen crew greeted me and they were all the friendliest people you'd ever want to meet. The food was delicious and they had a wide variety of beers, all of which that I tried were very good as well. I'll definitely be back!
