I had eaten rather late yesterday (just before closing) but that took nothing away from the attention I received at the Huaco Mexican Eatery. The food was meticulously curated, the chef was cheerful and sweet and it was completely delicious. A unique take on your everyday tacos we seem to get here in Texas and the churros are next level.

Cool place with decent options to eat .

Roni’s Mac n cheese It was pretty good .
Looked good and tasted nice x it had counters to order and was ready pretty fast .

Overall this food court place is a bit expensive for a cafeteria kind of place but still very comparable to other places and gives options under same roof .
That was one good place for vegetarians

The other option I tried was Chinese Dono Ramen .. - miso vegetarian ramen — 🙁😩 it was very bad for me .. I could not eat at it . Probably because of my Indian taste buds . I enjoy Thai food. Had to throw the whole bowl ..

While driving to Dallas, we made a stop in Waco and found this food hall on Google Maps. What a great concept: a hall filled with different food vendors, offering a variety of options for everyone.

There was plenty of food and desserts to choose from, so we tried a mix of pizzas, fish tacos, a mexican fruit cup and a horchata. Everything was tasty and the atmosphere was lively.

After a day in Waco at the Cameron Park Zoo with our kids and grandkids on a Sunday, we were looking for a place to eat. We decided to give Union Hall a try because there was so much variety in food options. Great choice! The location is downtown and there is some free street parking and a small lot next to Union Hall that is free, but free parking is limited. There are several paid parking lots across the street that charge $3/hour or $10/day, cash only. The Union Hall layout is interesting with rows of food vendors and tables scattered between them. There are some larger seating areas, and we had no trouble finding a table for 5 adults and 2 children at around 2:30 pm.

So many choices! Here’s a summarized rundown of what we got:
Domo Sushi – Happy Roll and Shrimp Tempura
Armstrong’s Bayou Café – Jambalaya Pasta
Bayou Po’boys – Alligator Sausage Po’boy on French Bread
The Village Pizza-ria – Village Throwback Pizza and Double Pepperoni Pizza
Pupusa Paradise – Watermelon Cup

Bottom Line, no complaints, the food was great. I recommend you try the alligator sausage po’boy if you want something different. The sausage is very good, and it’s a well put together sandwich (the crusty French bread was excellent!). The pizza toppings could have been distributed a little better, but that’s such a minor thing because the pizza was outstanding! Really no negatives for any of the food and we would get them all again, but why would you when there are so many other choices! If you are in Waco looking for something unique and different with a lot of food options, I highly recommend that you go check out Union Hall. It’s worth the stop!

Cool place with several culinary options. Didn't grab any photos of the tamales and guacamole from Waycool Tacos but they were amazing. The guacamole was chunky the way I like it and definitely fresh. The tamales were not greasy or dry but just right. The chicken was seasoned well. The Village Pizza place is amazing. Nice place to visit.
