This was by far one of the best Bed and Breakfast experiences we have had. Not only is the location outstanding, with ocean views from every room, the hosts have clearly thought of everything to ensure their guests have the best experience possible. Innkeeper Shawn met us when we arrived, and we were offered homemade cookies (vegan, specially made for me), and a glass of wine each. Our room was even better than we anticipated: beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, with a stunning view from the large picture window. We enjoyed our wine on the deck before taking the narrow pathway down to the beach below. As for breakfast the next morning in the beautiful dining room, we had to agree with our fellow guests--it was outstanding. Dani and Ken provided an incredible assortment of dishes for us, including delicious vegan options for me. We enjoyed talking to them afterwards about how they had transformed the place into such a perfect guesthouse. Their attention to detail is evident everywhere: the rooms, the communal areas, the food, and Dani's beautiful photos on the walls. Our only regret about our time at Tyee Lodge is that we couldn't extend our stay.

This hidden gem on the Oregon coast is perfect! if you are looking to stay in the Newport area, Tyee Lodge is highly recommended. Run by a charming local family, this traditional bed and breakfast has all the comforts one would expect for a cozy, coastal retreat. Every room has a stunning view of the ocean as the house is situated on a high cliff over Agate Beach. There is an easy, private path down to the beach. Our room had a very comfortable bed and private bath with gloriously strong water pressure for showers to warm up after a day playing on the coast. On our first night's stay we were blessed with a rare winter sunset over the ocean and our host started a fire to warm ourselves as we watch the sunset with a bottle of wine. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING! The chef is creative and it was hot, delicious, and unique each morning. We understand they also do a dinner service, but we did not book that. Heard great things from the other guests though! Please stay at Tyee Lodge and support this family-run business.

We spent two relaxing night’s at this beautiful property. Our room was clean and comfortable with a fireplace, lovely decor and views of the ocean. The owners of the property are great hosts, they show great care to their guests and the attention to detail is evident. In the evening they served a nice vege and cheese tray, along with wine. And the breakfasts were a delight. I would recommend to anyone (couple) looking for a relaxing getaway.

Amazing place! Kind of hesitant to write this review because it was such an amazing experience I feel I want to keep this place out of the radar! The owners made us feel like family. My favorite thing was walking down to the beach to catch the sunset and coming back to a warm fire and conversations in the backyard. The breakfast was spot on. And the views from the room were fantastic. All in all, one of the best B&B experiences.

We went to the Tyee Lodge for a little get-away on the coast. The service was outstanding. Hosts were very accommodating in arranging for the breakfasts and had good information about what to do in the area. Beautiful ocean views from the room! We would certainly go again.

Beautiful bed and breakfast. Chef prepared
a breakfast both days that was fabulous. This was our first time staying and won't be our last. Fabulous room with fireplace and private bathroom, not too mention, a breathtaking view of the sea. The family owned business is tucked away with a scenic view and plenty of places to explore outside. We loved it.

Wonderful bed and breakfast in a beautiful spot. Check in was a breeze, the room was spotless and the hosts were kind responsive and all around great people to interact with. Breakfast both days of our stay was delicious and more than you can eat no matter how much you may want to. Key amenities that weren’t super clear in the listing is a 5 gallon water cooler available to guests for filling water bottles before going out each day along with an ice maker, and a fire pit overlooking the beach below the property with lounge chairs for a group. All in all I can’t recommend the lodge enough and we will be visiting again in the future.

This was our first booking at any B&B. They blew it out of the water. Outstanding service and cleanliness for starters. We love that they had games, books and puzzles for their guests. Lovely conversation with them and other guests. Delightful, gourmet breakfasts with all the bells and whistles.
To say we were impressed is an understatement.
