Very nice place. Was very clean and staff were very nice and helpful. There was lots of soap in the bathroom. The only issues I had was the hot water tasted like melted plastic, and my bathroom vent fan did not seem to work.

Loved my stay here. The breakfast was good and did it's job and the staff were very friendly. They made my stay most comfortable and enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend staying here as it is easily 20 minutes outside of the city limits and next to six flags! Everything was convenient 😌

I booked/stayed one night in this property.

First, Tru is not a classic Hilton brand and the accommodations can be a little bit startling if you don't know what to expect. Basis room amenities, and hard surfaces. I actually like them for quick stays like a next day flight or a quick road stop.

This particular property appeared quite new. The facility presents as clean and fresh including the lobby, breakfast area, fitness room, hallways, and my room/bathroom. Overall, the I was pleased with the cleanliness.

The staff that I interacted with was pleasant and helpful which was nice to see.

The thermostat / HVAC situation is a bit awkward. It seems like part of it is controlled with a wall thermostat and some of it is controlled at the unit under the window. I am not sure why it is that way, but after a few minutes of fiddling, it worked well.

Exterior noise is a significant problem at this property. I read some of the reviews and was sure to request a room on the back side (you would want an odd numbered room). I received a back side room as requested, but it was an end unit. The noise through the night was not an issue, but around 6AM, traffic picked up and it was extremely noticeable. The noise is actually penetrating the exterior wall. I may have done better if I didn't have the end unit, but for me it wasn't a huge issue because I was up early to continue my travel.

I would recommend a room on the back and not on the end. That is probably your best chance and not having a lot of road noise. The property wasn't very full, so I don't know if guest noise would be a problem.

If I needed a quick overnight, I would definitely stay again. If I needed to sleep in, I wouldn't because of the risk of a lot of noise. It's a shame because the staff, cleanliness and proximity to I-20 (not the source of road noise) and ATL are good.

Traveler, beware! Hilton is our 'go to' when traveling. This hotel was a huge disappointment. The lady who checked us in barely looked up. There were hairs in the shower. The biggest problem was the CONSTANT road noise. We chose a room on the 'quiet' side of the building, away from the highway. The walls are so thin - we heard road noise all night - trucks, motorcycles! We had our background white noise app on high and the air conditioner fan - did not help. Hilton, you either cheaped out or the construction company cheated you. Will never stay at this location again.

We are doing a mini vacation and this was near six flags. We only had a 3 mile drive after and wonderful day at the park. This was an awesome hotel with fun games to play on the lobby. The breakfast staff did an outstanding job keeping tables clean and ready for guests. The rooms were clean and very nice with all the amenities needed for our stay. The shower water pressure was fabulous! Can't beat that for our one night stay. We had so much fun! Thank you for having us.

Super nice place. Seems to be fairly new, everything is clean and well kept. The staff here are superb; helpful, friendly, and attentive. Huge TV in the rooms, beds are comfortable, and decent breakfast.

The lobby area is great. I have met a few awesome people here and we have had a few beverages along from time to time. The gym is amazing for a "budget friendly" hotel, DB's up to 50, 2 treads, 1 elliptical, and 1 peloton. The mexican joint 1/4 mile down the road is fantastic (Tru has it on their eat local board)... BUT, if you aren't driving then the location is terrible. The homeless camp out back can be busy, depending on the time of year. I've walked to the Mexican restaurant a few times and have only had 1 small issue. The Wal Mart behind it has constant police presence, so in general it's just not just a good area.
