Great B&B. Pam is an excellent host. I have stayed there numerous times every time I came to Jesup. This inn is beautiful with historic designs yet with all the modern amenities. The only issue with Jesup in general is the train. You cannot stay anywhere near Jesup without hearing the train horn at night. Pam puts white noise machines in the rooms but it didn't help me sleep. Yet, I came back every time because of the hospitality.

The Emma Abigail suite was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Pam is an excellent hostess, she makes you feel right at home. Convenient location right on Cherry Street, just a stroll from downtown with the shops, theater, various restaurants, and the Union Station Brewery which is a must on your trip through downtown. This has been my favorite bed and breakfast and shall be returning again.

I’m writing a review for the Trowell Historic Inn. The decoration is beautiful but There are so many complaints that I have for this place. First, I felt like I wasn’t comfortable to walk around the place or even make any sound because the walls were very thin. I felt that any noise including my phone noise would wake up the other guests. I even didn’t sleep well because of that feeling. Secondly, when asked what time my party wanted breakfast, I gave a timeframe to the owner in which she didn’t accommodate, instead she explained to my party that she had to fix up the house and take care of the yard at the end forfeited our breakfast time. Lastly at 8 am in the morning while my party was sound asleep, the owner was using tools outside to work on the house which woke us up startled and we couldn’t get back to sleep. The check out was at 11. The owner should have waited until 11 to do what she had to do for the house in order to accommodate her guests. I will not be going back there due to our experience and for the cost of the room, things could have been different. I do not recommend anyone to stay at there and save their money and invest in going to a hotel. The host didn’t even bother to acknowledge us when we I complained about the noise. Honestly o should have gotten my mob back.

Wow! This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and we loved it! Pam is so welcoming and the house is gorgeous. Our suite was comfortable and private. To top it all off, the blueberry pancakes for breakfast were delicious. There is a great brewery down the street within walking distance as well!
