Service: 2/5
+Hotel staff were polite and helpful.
-I stayed for 5 days and Room service did not visit at all.
Cleanliness: 1/5
*There were lots of little chinst bugs in my room
*The shower floor and drywall ceiling had mold in spots
*The ironing board looks like someone "Arrived" on it.
•The bathroom fan grate has not been cleaned since the 90's
*The floor has signs of obvious neglect
I used one of the provided towels with some water to clean off the desk and then took a picture of the towel (attached)
**Overall the cleanliness of this hotel was severly lacking.**
Breakfast:
-NO BREAKFAST
Room:
-AC unit defaulted to heat at 78f every night around midnight and caused me to wake up sweating.
-There was a water pipe located in the ceiling above the bed which would rattle and make very loud noises throughout the night.

I can't rate this any lower. It was a CLC but they refused to check me in without giving them a card. I did so I could go to work. Do not do this. They end up charging my card for the 4day stay. Called them 3x times. The number on my bank withdrawal didn't have voicemail set up. Called their front desk- First lady was unhinged and rude. She was talking down to me and said she couldn't tell me why I got charged, and it's 10pm at night so call back during business hours. I call back during business hours and the person couldn't help me. They took my info and never called back. Filled out a dispute and got my refund. Don't trust this place, they are scummy. (Update: I checked out Nov 8, and they charged me 2 more times during the dispute up until Dec 30, thankfully my bank resolved it.)

If you want conditioner you have to ask for it at the front desk, the rooms otherwise have a conditioning shampoo.

Also, no breakfast, and they have 1 pot of burnt coffee in the lobby.

I do not recommend this place, absolutely no customer service aside from the kind housekeepers.

Review of Travelodge by Wyndham Hermiston, Oregon

I recently had an experience with Travelodge by Wyndham Hermiston that left me quite disappointed. As a resident of Hermiston, I noticed that the sidewalks around the hotel were littered with goat head stickers, making them unusable for the community. These stickers are not only a nuisance but also a hazard, especially for those of us who enjoy walking or have pets.

Two weeks ago, I called the hotel's booking number to report the issue and requested that they clear the sidewalks. I was assured that the matter would be addressed within a week. However, after waiting patiently for two weeks with no action taken, I decided to visit the hotel in person.

This morning, I spoke with a mid-aged blonde lady at the front desk. I politely asked if someone could clean the goat heads off the sidewalk so that the community could use them safely. To my surprise, she responded with a dismissive attitude, saying, "No, we don't do that." I was taken aback by her lack of concern and unwillingness to help.

As a member of the Hermiston community, I had hoped for a better response from a local business. It's disappointing to see that Travelodge by Wyndham Hermiston does not prioritize the safety and well-being of its neighbors. This experience has certainly affected my perception of the hotel and its management.

I leave it up to you to decide what you think of this company, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend Travelodge by Wyndham Hermiston. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to better serve their community.

Hard to even know where to start. Room service came into my room even with my DND sign up. No coffee pots in rooms, it's at the front desk and is frequently lukewarm and undrinkable because they don't keep up with it (even during morning hours when people want coffee). Bathroom has a strong urine smell.

They had an external door right next to my room that maybe opens 10% of the time. It's about as far away from the main office as possible. So you have to walk across the hotel grounds and all the way back in a big U. Keys erase frequently. Multiple times I made the previous walk only to find my key didn't work and had to trek back to the desk. It is frequently a 10 min process getting into my room.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels, but I don't think I can remember one quite this bad. The only positive I can't think of is that I haven't seen any bedbugs.

I just had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. Today we are driving 3 hours from Spokane WA to Hermiston OR for our best friend’s funeral. We booked two rooms for our family with Travel Lodge in Hermiston. The funeral is at 2pm, and due to uncontrollable scheduling, we are not able to arrive to Hermiston until 1:30 pm. We read our reservations and realized check in was not until 4:00 pm. We called the hotel the last night at 8:00 pm, and the front clerk desk was amazing. We were asking if we could check in to one of our rooms early so we could change out of our travel cloths and into our suits/dresses in the short time we had to get to the funeral. He check our specific rooms told us they were not booked that night and it should be no problem at all, but we would have to call this morning and confirm with the General Manager Kai (sp?).
My wife called Kai this morning and was told no. In disbelief, I called told her I was going to call back and she warned me that Kai was very rude to her.
When I called and started explaining the situation, she cut me off and told me “I am very sorry for your situation, but that does not make you any more important than any of my other guests. I am not kicking anyone out of their rooms just for you.”
I was slack jawed. Maybe both of those rooms booked after 8pm last night? I tried to ask her what time check out was (we found out it was 11:00 am), but I could not even get that out as she kept raising her voice and talking over me.
I will be honest, I lost my cool at this point and raised my voice back to her. I wanted to ask for any help. A place we could store our luggage? A room we could change our cloths? But I was never even given the opportunity. She told me, “You know, there are other hotels in Hermiston”. There, I lost it and swore at her and she hung up on me. I am not proud of that, but I literally had tears rolling down my cheeks at this point. On such an emotional day, the last thing I wanted to deal with was trying to figure out how to put my suit on before my best friend’s funeral. My wife immediately checked our reservations and they were cancelled.
Why no effort to help at all? No options or solutions were given. Zero remorse or sympathy in her voice, a person whose main roll is customer service.
I am not going to let this go. I went to their website and saw a lot of 1 star reviews all pertaining to customer service. Mine will be added to the list, and posted high and low anywhere I can.

I was very tired and very glad to find a reasonably priced place to stay. The gal at the front desk was wonderful making sure my needs were met and even walked me to my room! I am picky and the room was clean, quiet, and I had a good sleep. I felt safe as well.
Comfort Inn had wanted 200 for one person, one night!

It’s a Travelodge. It’s decent for the price. Beds aren’t super comfortable, but I’ve had worse.

Great manager. She runs a tight ship. Rooms were very clean, & good sized. The queen bed was very high quality, so it was very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when passing through.
