The reservation I made was not honored. I paid for a handicapped accessible room with a king bed and a roll in shower. I got stuck with a regular room with queen beds. There was NO coffee, cream, sugar, etc.. in the room. No coffee pot. No telephone. NO iron. NO chairs. Only 2 bath towels, hand towels & wash cloths for the entire 3 night stay. No daily room service. We were placed clear in the back of the building. We had bars on the window. The gate by our room was locked, chained & padlocked 24/7. A HUGE FIRE HAZARD!!! We had to call to be let in & out every time!!! We are 71 & 78 years old & use a cane & a walker. We had to forego any chance of a shower. There was only one hand-bar in the tub! When I asked for a discount; I was told that a regular room was higher in cost than one that was handicapped accessible, king bed, roll in shower. UNBELIEVABLE! This is time this has happened this year!!!

I won't say it'sthe best place to stay, but I can see where they've made serious improvements. It's been a slow process for sure, but I've watched it go from a relative trash heap to a much safer and quieter place to get a quick nights rest without too much worry. The best thing about the place is the management and housekeeping staff. They work overtime to make your stay pleasant, are super helpful. If i had to stay at a local motel I would go here just out of familiarity.

I strongly advise against staying at this establishment. I traveled three hours to visit Diamond Valley Lake and booked this hotel for a quick overnight stay, expecting a convenient and comfortable experience. Unfortunately, that was far from the case.

Upon arriving at 11:30 PM, I immediately noticed a significant number of homeless individuals congregating in the parking lot, which raised safety concerns. Despite my reservations, I proceeded with my stay since I had already prepaid.

Upon entering my room at midnight, I found it to be unbearably cold. I attempted to turn on the heater, but it was nonfunctional. After contacting the front desk, a staff member was sent to assess the issue. I was informed that the heating unit was broken and that I would be moved to another room; however, no such relocation occurred. As a result, I was left in a room at 42 degrees Fahrenheit, all while feeling uneasy about my vehicle’s security due to the growing number of individuals outside.

By 2:30 AM, I decided to leave. I packed my belongings, left the hotel, and ultimately resorted to sleeping in my car in a Walmart parking lot.

This was an extremely disappointing and uncomfortable experience, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a safe and restful stay.

Traveld from out of town. A lot of homeless people in the area. Staff does not advise you of the towing Hazzard. Had our friends car towed because they parked on the Dennys parking side. Signs are hard to read unless you're right next to them. Exterior of hotel is dirty. Rooms are ok, but need more detail cleanness. Will not stay here again.

I would not have stayed at this location if I had read the reviews. The environment is very unsafe with a lot of homeless and idle people roaming around. The receptionist was very friendly and hospitable, but that doesn't take away the need for improvement. Room furniture was terrible with broken drawers, tables, and chairs. [See pics]. This place is unfit for stay. I regret throwing my money away for this kind of trash.

I couldn't believe this was a Travel lodge. They had people living in the hotel. Some had dogs or kids. Sketchy people all night. They had no handicap parking available. Because people just parked in the handicap without plates. Beds had stains on the bed skirts. Mold in restroom the towels were a joke so thin. I've stayed of plenty of Travel Lodge hotels. This was so bad I wouldn't bring your children here.

Reeked of cigarette smoke. There was no safe parking and people living out of their cars on the side of the building where the extra “parking” is. Even though i was traveling with my boyfriend i still felt so unsafe staying here. Front desk person was nice but that’s about it.

Positive: Nothing Negative: First room had a leak in the ceiling and the light fixture in the bathroom, also no cover. It had a rusted broken microwave and dirty stained chair in both rooms. Second room had a broken bootm door and the bathroom light and fan came on every two hrs.
