Not as cheap as it should be. Floors were dirty tub wasn’t clean. I arrived. They promptly told me they needed a 25$ deposit. I did not have. Come back the next day. It was raised to 50. Refused to refund my money. was refused a key to the room I already rented. My stuff still locked in a room I have no access to. If they wanted a deposit they shoulda included it in the price. I wouldn’t rate this hole for nothing

I have never met such rude and unprofessional people in all my life.
The only recommendation I would give this place is..Don't book here!
Everything they say they have on their website is a lie.
Don't let the price make your decision..you get what you pay for.

This place is not good. We got there and was charged double for our room.. for a one night stay. We got to the actual room and it was filthy. Blood on one of the beds, dirty sheets, dirty floor and uncleaned coffee maker with the previous stayers coffee bag still in it. The towel rack in the bathroom completely fell off the wall.

Got to stay in your room at all times if you don't listen to the management they will kick you out and there is no refunds on rooms

A place to lay your head for the night if you don't mind it being dirty and outdated. The lightening is good around the parking lot, bowling alley next door and grocery store. Dollar general in walking distance. The rooms are good size, just terribly out dated and need a good deep clean. If they took a little time to upgrade and get a good cleaning crew they could charge more per night. The bathroom tub drain did not drain, the bathroom smelled like urine, the carpet needs to go, counters dirty, walls dirty, stained sheets, pillows, bed. I took a wash rag and wiped the bathroom counter, too of microwave and TV stand rag was black when I finished.

I made reservations online, and of course messed it up. But when I got there they were very understanding and still went ahead and helped me with what I needed. Very kind, open, good hearted people. It's not a luxurious place or fancy, but it's very homey and comfortable and has everything necessary! I don't need the upgrades and luxuries of these over priced hotels. Keeping it simple and basic they are able to keep the prices fair and affordable. The room was clean, no bugs, the shower hot, the AC and fan worked fantastic! It's peaceful and quiet and anything you need from groceries to fast food to churches, all just a few minutes away. If you're not too "high class", and just looking for somewhere clean, comfy and affordable, I'd highly suggest the Travelers Place. 2 nights of feeling at home here, for the same price or less then only 1 night at the fancy hotels. Can't beat it! I'm so appreciative of them for helping me thru my mess up trying to reserve online.

Other than the fairly comfortable bed not much going for the room. After having to wait 2 hours after check-in time because the room was not ready, I expected pretty a pretty clean room. The carpet did not look like it had been vacuumed, the sink definitely was not cleaned, and I found a used towel behind the door in the bathroom area. With all this I was still willing to give 2 or 3 stars for the bed, but when my hot shower turned cold in 2 minutes, 1 star is to much…

This place is a hazard! There was bugs, mold, hair, a busted in door, a supporting post evidently destroyed by a car lying on the sidewalk and yet we were still given a room on the 2nd level amd were supposed to walk across unsupported walkways. There were missing pieces to the tub and so much more. They also refuse refunds even though we were only there enough time to see this and leave (maybe 5 minutes)
