Location is amazing, views from ocean front rooms are perfect. Rooms themselves…..is a different story. Extremely outdated: broken fireplace, everything is worn out to the extreme. Foil on the range.
So sad when it’s the perfect location and so much potential but they let it go.

No lights pointing to the beach so you can’t even see the ocean at night.. other hotels do that at night so their guests get the best of the experience- it’s cheap and easy.

The kitchen didn’t have table/soup spoons, only tea spoons.

The TV is outdated and has no Apps. So technically you can’t really watch anything on it.

The screen door doesn’t lock.

The more positive reviews here are from people who stay at motels and have extremely low expectations.

Not worth more than $90/night.

Really not sure how this place gets anything more than a three.

Nicer than I expected for the price. We were able to upgrade to room with a view when we arrived. So glad we did the balcony and view of the beach were perfect for our weekend getaway. The owner who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming, clean room & firm bed with a nice little kitchenette.

I can't say enough good things about our experience!
Our King suite was clean and well maintained with a well-appointed kitchenette that had everything you'd need to make meals in your room.
The bed was firm with very clean sheets and king-sized pillows with a perfect view of the ocean while reclining in it.
The towels were fluffy and clean and the shower had the best water pressure from the adjustable shower head. Perfect for a hot shower after walking on the chilly beach!
We made frequent use of the on-site ice machine too!

And of course, we couldn't have asked for a better view, literally STEPS to the beach for a midnight stroll. We were also super lucky to have booked when there were King Tides! What a beautiful way to experience the event from the comfort of our room.

Top notch customer service from the friendly staff too.

The location was just minutes from various attractions and delicious local restaurants.

We will DEFINITELY be be back!!

The rooms are quite spacious and include a fully featured mini-kitchen. The only downside was the fireplace being temporarily out of service. A pathway around the building leads directly to the beach. The building is somewhat old but is quite welcome with a friendly staff.

Believe the good reviews! We stayed one night after visiting the Tillamook forest and cheese factory and our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The check-in was very thorough and the staff showed they will go the extra mile when we called for a wine opener and were also brought a pair of wine glasses. Nice touch. This place is an absolute gem!

This motel is ideally located. We had an ocean view room and were able to walk straight down to the beach. We had a lovely time celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. Thank you, Tradewinds, for hosting us.

Wonderful location! You can walk right down to the beach, and they even have a foot wash station for you to use. I am a stickler for things being clean, and our room surpassed my expectations. The owners clearly care about this place, and I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in the area.

Our Corvette Club stayed at the hotel for two nights. Neil was very helpful in planning our reservation. The rooms were clean and comfy, just steps away from the beach. Plenty of safe parking for our cars. Overall, a great hotel for hosting a large group.
