Our food was hot and absolutely delicious. The pretzel was literally one of the best we have ever had. Our cheeseburgers were seasoned amazingly. The sweet potato fries were like candy. Addicting

Great place kinda off the beaten path. If you're heading down to the Amish area this is a good place to start. Large portions and taste great. The servers are very busy every time we have gone but are very attentive.

Amazing food, great service and relaxed atmosphere!
Me and couple buddies came here after a sporting event. Wow, just wow. We were sat down quickly and our waitress was fantastic! She was attentive, fun and her food recommendations were on point. The food did take about an hour to come out but we were told that putting in a reservation would have prevented that. So that is my recommendation to you review reader.

Went with the wings that were well sized and perfectly cooked. I also did the Lake Erie walleye meal with mash potatoes and Mac and cheese, it was excellent.

Inside the tavern there was not much to do as far as activities which was fine by us because the four us wanted to talk. Outside was a really cool environment as there was live music.

Can’t wait to come back here and eagerly waiting when we do!

Delicious!!! Our waitress was very attentive. The soft pretzel was perfect. We had little to no waiting time. Our meals: boneless wings, broccoli. Ff, BLT were so good. The portions were big, so big we got to boxes to go home. Highly recommend this gem in Boliver, Ohio. Very economical!!!!!

The food was alright at best. It was extremely tough and dry. And my fries were dripping in grease. Heard good things about here but was disappointed in our food. The waiter was polite and friendly though.

Service was great. The best fresh fries. And gave us a ton! Sweet thai wings were delicious. Chicken was very tender. Reasonably priced. If I lived in the area, I could see myself being a regular.

I bike by the towpath tavern all of the time but have never stopped until Monday... The smell coming from the kitchen made my park my bike immediately and head inside to find out what smelled so good. I ordered a burger with swiss cheese and mayo with a side of fries, the burger was incredible! The fries were great, cooked to perfection and with the right amount of salt, but they need malt vinegar on the tables to put the fries over the top.

Overall a fantastic experience, with helpful staff, leaving me wondering why I hadn't stopped before. Lesson learned, I'll be back!

My husband and I had wonderful time Saturday night 8/26/23. We enjoyed the delicious food and we caught up with friends listening to a great local band performing on Saturday, "New Delhi Monkey Men" band.
Great food and good service too!
