The hotel is kept tidy, the parking lot is well lit, rooms are clean and come stocked with pots, pans and dinner ware. The staff are well mannered and super helpful especially Geri, she's very kind and her smile and presence brightens the day. I've stayed here on two separate occasions, once for a week and another for 2 weeks.

This place was so nice. The breakfast wasn't as great as everyone claimed it would be and the lady working the breakfast area was stalking it everytime we were there to get something to try out. The eggs were good I liked the eggs but the microwave sandwiches they had were nasty they didn't have any gravy or biscuits they had eggs waffles some nasty looking sausage and cereal oatmeal and wheat toast it wasn't anything to write home about and honestly if your gonna do eggs and sausage why not have gravy and biscuits too?

I originally booked a 20-night stay, but I had to check out after just 13 days due to a series of frustrating issues. First off, both of my room keys stopped working FIVE times during my stay! It was incredibly inconvenient to keep going back to the front desk to get them reactivated.

To make matters worse, all the exercise machines in the gym stopped working, and there were no signs posted to let guests know. Talk about a lack of communication! I was really looking forward to keeping up with my fitness routine during my stay, but that was clearly not going to happen.

I also requested housekeeping during my time there. You start off with three towels, but by Saturday, I was down to none. When I asked about it, I was told they wash the towels and would bring them up. Unfortunately, the dryer was broken the entire time I was there, which meant no towels were coming my way.

This hotel has lost my business for future visits—I was planning to stay for 5.5 weeks on my next trip, but now I’ll be looking elsewhere. When I finally brought these issues up to the front desk, the staff member simply apologized and said it was my choice to leave. Not exactly the response I was hoping for.

Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience. Save yourself the trouble and find a place that values its guests!

I booked this hotel at the last minute, as I was on my way to Detroit and some heavy traffic in both Louisville and Cincinnati slowed me down. I don't like to drive in the dark so I thought getting a room would be best! You cannot go wrong if you find yourself in Dayton and you stop at the TownePlace Suites Dayton North.

Location is easy to find, though the traffic circle nearby seemed to be NEW and caused issues for my GPS. I found parking very easily and walked in to check-in. I was greeted warmly and welcomed to the hotel. Check-in was seamless and I got finished and took the luggage cart to my car to unload things. I had to be directed to the working elevator which I appreciated! My room was comfortable and the bed was very soft! The TV worked well ... welcoming me as a GOLD ELITE MEMBER. which, again, is appreciated!!!

After getting unpacked I went back downstairs to grab a water, a soda and a snack and I encountered Erin, the Front Office Manager, who was apparently working the overnight shift. She was INCREDIBLY friendly and accommodating given I was encountering her at just after 2:00am. We had a brief conversation and she was ALL smiles and warmth. She really made me feel at home and that is something that doesn't always happen at every hotel I stay at! I think that Erin should most definitely be recognized by her leadership for going above and beyond. She did not have to be a friendly, smiling face at 2:00am but I am SO glad she was.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel ... and never have issues when I choose Marriott. Thank you to Erin and her team at the TownePlace Suites Dayton North!!!!

Amazing location with restaurants and a Walmart/Sam Club near by. My room was clean along with great service. Zack at the front desk made the check-in process smooth and accommodated to anything I may needed. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing a safe/clean place to lay their head.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was phenomenal. We got into town around 5AM, and we were able to check in without any issues. I spoke with the General Manager Vashauna a few days in advance. Vashauna was more than accommodating for my early morning arrival. When we arrived, we were greeted by Lisa at the front desk. She was awesome getting us checked in. That same morning, after getting some rest after a 14-hour dive, we had just missed breakfast. However, Jerri' provided us with a couple of breakfast sandwiches. Awesome, staff, clean hotel. They made Thanksgiving back home wonderful. The only downside was that there had nothing to do with the hotel. The road to the hotel was closed, so we had to drive through The Cracker Barrel parking lot.

We checked in at the TownePlace Suites Marriott Dayton North on the nights of 11/26/2024 and 11/27/2024 while attending a funeral in Springfield, Ohio, the day before Thanksgiving. We flew in from Los Angeles and were greeted and checked in by one of the nicest and friendliest clerks we’ve ever encountered: Erin.||What stood out was her thoroughness in ensuring we had all the information we needed about the hotel, combined with the genuine care she showed in making sure we were well taken care of. Her attention to detail and kindness elevated her service to what we would call legendary. She set the bar so high that, moving forward, we’ll be hoping other check-in staff can match the exceptional service Erin provided.||I strongly recommend considering Erin for a raise or bonus—she truly deserves it.|– John P.
