So far so good. I needed a place to stay for two weeks while my plumbing was being redone in my home and everything is exactly as I expected. I especially love the semi-private patio where I was able to cook some right on Southern rubbed pork chops. I'm kind of offended nobody came over to share them with me I had extras! The aroma of them was intoxicating.

Tops Vista Inn is my place of residence. This is where I've lived the past two years almost. No longer a road side Inn. There is five studio apts and two one bedroom apts. Love the location....

A fine motel with clean, spacious, and nicely decorated rooms. Good water temp and pressure and comfortable A/C. Very short drive into downtown Ojai and easy access to the highway to travel along the coast. I'd gladly stay here again.

We were just looking for a room for the night. We stopped at the Iguana in Ojai and decided to keep looking after being quoted $400 for a Friday night stay. The Topa Vista didn't look impressive from the street, but we gave it a chance. The room was quite large. It was very clean an well maintained. You could tell it was an older motel but it was refurbished quite well. I would highly recommend it if you simply want a clean and spacious room. Only negatve comments are too nitpicky to mention.

We got to Ojai and called the hotel to see if our room was ready before the designated check-in time. They said it was, and gave us a code for our room. We got to the hotel and the code didn't work. Nobody working for the hotel was on-site, so we tried calling and was told to wait 20 minutes for the manager to arrive. We decided to go into town for a bit rather than wait outside in the parking lot. When we got back, they had given our room away to another family, and we were told we had a different room. Quite frustrated at this point, we just took the other room and tried to start relaxing. We couldn't find the wifi password so we called the hotel phone number; the manager came to our room a few seconds later, and angrily told us not to call the phone number and just to go to her office. This was a bit inappropriate considering it was the phone number listed online for this hotel, and the fact that she hadn't been in her office for an hour. Ten minutes later, the manager returned and knocked super hard on our door. She demanded a different payment method, and wouldn't explain why the previous card had been declined. She remained outside of the door until we gave her a different credit card; it was a bit rude, because it would've been nice to walk to her office in 5 minutes to give her the card, rather than have to gather ourselves while she stood at the door. All in all, this experience has been quite awful and I wouldn't stay here again.

Cute but dusty dirty. Too many spiders we killed even saw one crawling on our bed. Place needs good cleaning

They don't answer the phone. If you have there cell# well you can Text but good luck with that. The outside looks real nice perfect access to the Ojai area.
