1st time in about 45+years. The upper dining room is an elegant place, that casually dressed, is perfectly allowed. Came night before Valentine's Day and thoroughly enjoyed the Prime Rib. The baked potato was on the smaller size and considering how good the PR was, the smaller baked potato was fine. The dessert, a lava cake and a creme brulee were very delicious. We made reservations but we were early and had no problem being seated immediately. Can't say that will be the case on Valentine's Friday or Saturday night.

Excellent customer service and very good atmosphere. Old architecture with wide wood molding and detailing. Really appreciated the attentive maitredee/host/manager who loves his job and made sure all loved their visit and all was running smoothly. His attention to detail and report with the staff shines through.

We secured TJ's Catering for a wedding and received a confirmation on the wedding date and we selected the menu. Three months later, a few days before our test taste, the representative sent a message (NOT a call, cowardly), that they "didn't realize" the wedding date was on a Sunday and they CANCELLED our catering reservation for the wedding!!!! We wasted 3 months of time on them, trusting them for our catering. BIG MISTAKE! This is how they should have handled it to have avoided this review...Company owner to his employee: " You made a mistake not checking the date and the day of the week, but you confirmed the reservation and for the reputation of this business, we will have to eat any additional costs to honor this reservation. We will NOT cancel on this customer!" But NO, they didn't handle it that way, so here we are sending this warning to not trust TJ's for your catering needs. Don't be duped by their pretty website. They only care about themselves. (I actually think a better catering account came up for the same day so they cancelled us to make more money.) Let this be a warning, do not use TJ's Catering!

Omg. We’ve eaten here in the past and I remember it being good, but we only got some apps and a burger. Their taco from the taco crawl in 2023 was really good too from what I remember.

Anyways, this evening we got entrees for the first time and they were phenomenal. My husband got the NY strip and he’s more of a ribeye guy, but he said it was the best strip steak he’s ever had. I tried some of his mashed potatoes with the steak juices and I can say the flavor was great. I got the Cajun shrimp pasta and I was worried about it being a little spicy just because heartburn and pregnancy, but it was perfectly seasoned and probably the best pasta I’ve ever had at a restaurant to be honest.

Atmosphere was clean, quiet (Tuesday night) and the waitress was amazing as well.

We are already planning our next trip! So mad we’ve lived in Wooster for years and haven’t come here more!!

Felt the portions were small. Filet was dry and not much flavor. My sirlion was much better, but very small, compared to other6 oz steaks I've had. The sirloin and shrimp means 3 shrimp. The sides were delicious. This was our first time visiting, so we'll be back. Hopefully will be able to improve the rating.

We came here for dinner and sat at the bar. Our bartender was very friendly. We had a few appetizers. We had the shrimp appetizer. Oh my goodness was that broth good. We also had the cauliflower wings. I liked that because it had a nice fried coating on the outside. For dinner I enjoyed their lemon chicken and thought it was perfectly spice. Great night. Not too expensive and good food.

A nice selection of surf and turf. The wait staff is knowledgeable, gracious and friendly. If you are looking for a place where you can talk (date night, business meeting, etc.), this is the best place in town, as the background music is very light and the acoustics are quite good.

Had a birthday party here with a group of about 10 people and we were able to reserve a spot on the patio. The atmosphere was incredible, especially with the perfect weather, and the service was fantastic.

Unfortunately, the quality of food did not match the price. I ordered the walleye sandwich and my wife ordered the beef tenderloin sandwich, and both were quite overcooked and I just cant say we enjoyed the food experience. We did have members who ordered the mac and cheese, pizza, and cauliflower wings and were quite happy with their food which is why this review went from 3 stars to 4 stars.

We will definitely go back at some point and maybe just try something different or safer.
