I'd been to this place a few times to support my friends who have a live band and always have a good time. This time around, the service just wasn't that good. Usually we get table service, but this time we had to go to the bar to order. That wasn't really an issue. The main thing that sticks out is that we order loaded "fries" with some kind of "not cheese" sauce on it. When the server brought it out, they brought the wrong order - tots instead of fries. They were advised, left the tots on the table, and brought the fries. The fries barely got touched because of that sauce, but we didn't complain and kept enjoying the show. At the end of the night, I was given a receipt to sign without an itemized copy, which I asked for and received AFTER I paid for the food, plus a tip. I failed to look at the receipt before leaving. Upon my arrival at home, I saw that I was charged for the tots we never ordered, and it felt intentional with them never taking the tots back and attempted not to provide an itemized copy. The money is gone, so I didn't pursue the issue further. This is just a strong suggestion to ALWAYS get an itemized copy of your receipt and carefully review it BEFORE paying. S/N: I also ordered fajitas, and it was very good!

Based on our experience, I have to assume that all of the rat8ngs and comments are from when the restaurant was in its hayday. We found the place to be very worn out; both furniture and decor and the bathrooms were dirty. The menu was limited and the food was mostly 'average' bar food. The server was hospitable and responsive, which was the high note of our visit. First and last time we will go there, as there are lots of other options in the area.

I had the privilege of working audio with the bands . I hate to see another Legaedary bar close. I hope the crew lands in jobs they enjoy and the customers keep up the good times

They recently changed the burger recipe, and it is now AWFUL. It's tiny, the patty tastes like cafeteria meat, and it's $10 without fries.

Other than that, the tacos and quesadillas are decent, but service is slow. I come here for trivia, but I probably wouldn't recommend it otherwise.

Today is Cinco de Mayo….and this establishment was trash! No one greeted me and my guest when entering and after looking confused for about 8 minutes we were told to have a seat where ever and someone will serve you. We took a seat and browsed the menu which we were told was a limited menu due to it being Cinco De Mayo …but my menu was destroyed from water from the HVAC dripping on our table…when our waitress came back to take our drink order we were told that there was only 1…that’s right…1 special which was an $8 12 oz Margarita. I’m thinking I’m cool no problem me and my guest ordered flavored margaritas and some chips and guacamole. Our drinks came out shortly afterwards but 20 minutes went by and our waitress never came back…we called another waiter over and expressed we were waiting on our chips and were ready to order. He explained that orders were backed up because only one cook was working in the back….wait what?!…we said cool just give us our check and we’ll head out. He brings our check and the bill is almost $25…I said wait we only ordered the $8 margaritas. He then advised that flavored 12 oz margaritas are regular price. He apologized and said I’m sorry your waitress didn’t explain that I’ll make the change …he charged my card the full amount. Not pressed about the charge but this place was a complete sh!t show.

Went here with someone. We both ordered 2 margs each. I ordered fajitas and he ordered 3 tacos. The total was $107…not sure how that is possible. Asked for a receipt, waited 10 minutes and never got one. I’m pretty sure we were charged for someone else's meal as they tried to deliver more food to our table at one point. Nobody ever came to help solve why we were charged $107 for margs that cost $11 ($44 total), fajitas for $20 and tacos that would’ve been $20 as well.

Had a fun time listening to Maxwell Street band, they were great! Venue
is shabby and dated, food was mediocre at best.vservice was a bit slow but not the fault of the staff, they were short and overwhelmed. Drinks were good so that was a highlight. They need an update in regards to atmosphere badly.

Restrooms here are filthy and smell horrible! The staff needs to clean them and put air freshners. The food here is delicious and Wednesday nights are so much fun! Logan is the best. She knows how to make people feel welcome 🙏
